When this Cosa election ends, can political parties or Cosa seat holders immediately propose a new law to the Cosa, or is there a waiting period to confirm all the votes, and the Cosa's party seats per person/party? What exactly is the Talossan timezone to be compared to?
As I am in GMT+2 (at present 17:14),
what is the official time in Talossa?
When does the Cosa election officially end?
Kind regards,

I yield to Senator Davis's call. However, Ambassador, I do not think anyone has made requests "for their own personal amusement" as you received one request from an Officer of His Majesty's government to see the records you have obtained and one other call from the Secretary of State and the Minister of Defence requesting contact information so that we can see if such travel is feasible and safe. Do you object to such a visit? If so, why is that? I do *NOT* object, I have PM'd both requests! Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland President of the DPD

I renew my request for you to send me the aforementioned tax records, Ambassador. I believe I have some manner of cabinet position, too, so it would be nice for you to not ignore me. Excuse me for being blunt; but what exactly is your official position? These are not documents for everyone's amusement, but sent in good faith, in hopes of establishing relations with Talossa. Please PM me on this subject. Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland President of the DPD

Please post contacts. Capt Tim and I can road trip/ fly in, and we can do our version of "City Slickers" If you want us to take your posts seriously, then let me do my job, and go check out the "Lay of the land" Maybe we should PM on this matter... And somehow communicate, that we now suddenly DO accept the Royal Invitation... Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland President of the DPD

Did I just see Tony making dark imprecations, suggesting we all could end on some sort of mystic hit list? Oh. MY. I just meant, that the Secret Service and Homeland Security, the NSA and whatever agency, may monitor these Proboards32.com servers and the accounts - if they find an account that they deem anti-american, with threats against the President of the USA - they might very well have the legal right to ask Proboards to SHUT THIS account off... that's all I was worried about here!Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland President of the DPD PS. Thanks to the person who donated 5 dollars to the DPD!!!

Tony- It seems to me that if you don't like Talossa, because, as you say, "nobody recognizes it" Perhaps you should go look at some micronations? It not that I don't like Talossa! I've started a political party, paid money for this.. opened website for the DPD, and the Embassy. I just don't agree with certain persons, and that is not something that would mean that I dislike Talossa!

And in regards to how one speaks to an Ambassador, one hardly uses such language as you have used towards me. It both demeans me, my office, and Talossa. You sort of made it personal when you said "anyone with half a brain would know that". I take to those sorts of things easily, that's a fault of my own, but at the same time it's the truth. I apologize, but in my eyes, political titles mean nothing if they aren't earned. Given the oppritunity to meet Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, I'd punch him right in the face. Given the oppritunity to meet American President George W. Bush, I'd give him a square kick in the... well, you know where I'm going with this. I'm not one to give people more than others because of political titles... because when it comes down to it, you and I are the exact same thing: human. I'll judge by actions, not the man-made concept of governmental authority. If met with civility, I'll respond with civility. And to quote Forrest Gump... "and that's all I have to say.......... about that." I'll just say one last thing before running out into the cold rain... Yes, it's dark, and raining in Helsinki... As you know, speaking ill of the President, even how ridiculous it might sound - if this server is in the US, and it picks up the words "President" and "Bush", and your comment - well, let's just say, you might very well end up on some government list. We all know this. Nothing may happen, but it's just good to know, not to say anything that might even be conceived as a threat to the President, since that is a crime, and could lead to this Talossan Proboards account being shut down, or worse... That's just the free democracy with freedom of speach you live in... Have nice day! Kind regards, Tony Weckström Ambassador to Finland President of the DPD

Read the USA-PATRIOT ACT, and then you know. I've read the Patriot Act (took about a week, but...) and while I will agree that the law is essentially unconstitutional and a violation of a number of civil liberties, I saw no clause that stated it was a violation of American law to "contradict/disagree with/or otherwise piss off the Royal Talossan Ambassador to Finland." Listen. I'm not "pissed off" at you. We simply don't agree on some points. We're both Talossan, surely we can put this matter to rest as any two civilized people should be able to do. And in regards to how one speaks to an Ambassador, one hardly uses such language as you have used towards me. It both demeans me, my office, and Talossa. Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland

No, it is not a threat. I do not make petty threats. How could you even perceive it as a threat?! "Freedom of Speech has it's limitations in America. This website is run by the laws of the U.S." If that wasn't an indirect "STFU" statement, than what was it? Read the USA-PATRIOT ACT, and then you know. I have seen the the Tax Statements of the Principality's REAL land, as they first contacted me. One statement is for 5 acres, the other for 10. They are surely real, and can be checked through the county in which the property is located. Perhaps I am the only one that finds it a bit odd that a nation based in North America contacts the Talossan Ambassador to Finland and tosses its tax returns to him, but eh... I'll disregard it, I suppose. Maybe I'm intoxicated, but I don't recall criticizing the right to sell identification. I do criticize selling titles of nobility at outlandish prices, though. Their website, to be exact, before it was removed prior to the "Micronational War" (Bitovia/Elsanor V. Mirage Islands/New Texas) that is. As well as the Republic's digital embassy at the Dominion of British West Florida, where the Republic's legitimacy has fallen under suspicion as well. Perhaps "illegitmate" was a poor choice of words to describe Mirage Islands selling nobility at hundreds of dollars a pop. Perhaps "Super-Crazy-Mental-Bullshit" is a more accurate term. And yes, for the record, that IS a direct attack towards the Mirage Islands. Selling a coffee mug for five bucks is one thing. Selling a worthless title of nobility for hundreds of dollars (albeit technically legal) is a downright scam. So the Republic contacted the Ambassador to Finland to seek help in an international diplomatic crisis that excluded Finland? Interesting. I get your connotation, so I will confirm it for you. I am Edward Wadas, former Prime Minister of the now defunct Citizenry Republic of Bitovia. The one who authorized Bitovia to work alongside the Grand Duchy of Elsanor and the Dominion of British West Florida to discover all it could about the Principality of New Texas and the Republic of Mirage Islands. And my friend, we discovered things about those nations that would make your hair curl.... Part of the reason I'm so skeptical to even consider opening relations with micronations, specifically these "two".... The difference though is that it upholds a law in England, therefore the title would be recognized. Unlike the titles sold by Mirage Islands, which barely exists. Even so, it doesn't change the fact that those titles are sold by FOR PROFIT corporations... wouldn't this make Mirage Islands a "for profit" micronation? . And the Mirage Islands simply took this same business idea and made it apart of their own... Anyone with half a brain would have known that. Believe me my friend, I know it. I know what the Mirage Islands wants, and I know the direct links between the Republic and the Principality. Which is why, especially in this case, micronations should be avoided. Especially ones which exist to run as, how you say, a business. And contact our foreign officer in Finland to seek help with a North American "war". Let's end this issue between US two. It's pointless to discuss it. You seem to know more about the Mirage Islands and New Texas than I do - and I can freely admit it. I am only speaking from the experience and email correpondence from their representatives; when they wanted recognition etc... and that was a long time ago. New Texas offered their hand in friendship, and invited our King to their Royal Lodge - we must by our standards decline. That's that. Maybe some other time. It would just have been interesting to see photographs of the two heads of state's meeting each other, and hearing what they talked about... it would not automatically have had to mean, that we would recognize their micronation. Well. It's Monday morning, 6:33 am, gotta go to work. Have a nice day! Kind regards, Tony WeckströmAmbassador to Finland President of the DPD
