*head pops out of ground* Is there a way we could keep the position of Ladintsch Naziunal non-political no matter what?

Forbid comments directly expressing opinions about other MZs?
Require support for remarks made on bills?
Anything that forces people to use their words wisely.

Or give them to Tafial or anyone who's posted in the "Solamint el Glheþ" board.

Ok, how about this. You take the leadership position and decide which texts are worthy of a promotion based on length and type, then pass them on to me, I'll give them a read-through, and if they're good, you handle the various bits of bureaucratic machinery required to validate people.

It's actually sounding like you're the one who's up to this, Alex. Ain't no way I'll be able to translate el Lexhatx and lead an entire rank structure of ladintschen and studints. Being the sole member of la Serviçù à Glheþinaziun is, for now, a full-time commitment.
Maybe if things settle into more of a routine after el Lexhatx and the OrgLaw are translated, I'll be able focus on that, if you'll have me.

Well, we could dredge up the old idea of la SIGN and its three divisions for developing/revising and testing grammar and orthography.
Of course, then I'd have to abbreviate the Talossan Translation Service to la SàG.

I wear a military-inspired jacket a lot and I have a relatively strong knowledge of Talossan, but I don't think I'll use it to earn military ranks. That said, I think we should give it a shot. My job is to increase use of the language, and if that works, it has my full support.

Besides, if 20th century China is any indicator, giving the military a vested interest in cultural affairs isn't a good idea.

Every classification of acts worthy of a meritorious service decoration is not something many Talossans have opportunity to do. Also, it mentions "highly professional acts", when, in point of fact, none of us is doing this professionally, nor applying militarily inclined skills one might otherwise be paid to use.
Adding in that there are actually two levels of this class of decorations takes it from appropriately wistful, as all Talossan things are, to rather ridiculous.

"Only 1 response (2.6%) said that the use of Talossan had a negative effect on their participation, while 18 responses (47.3%) said that it increased their interest. This seems to be a clear vote of confidence in the Government’s policy of glheþinaziun."

I've been using the -adr- form as a marker that turns entire sentences non-indicative thoughts.

If there were* See subjunctive. The Talossan language doesn't have a subjunctive mood, and that's parenthetically one of my biggest frustrations with using it (as someone whose second language is French and is used to the use of that mood). "Estadrás" isn't a subjunctive mood verb?

D'acurd, schi hi estadra 'n türont sür el þroneu, força non estadrás permitat à zirarh *sanc 'n cunsequençù* dals cosas come "VOI. NON. ESTETZ. SUPER. EL. LEGEU."
(Ok, if there was a tyrant on the throne, you probably wouldn't be allowed to say things like "YOU. ARE. NOT. ABOVE. THE. LAW." *without consequence*.)
