Not calling YOU specifically a retard, Dreu, but only a retard would have forgotten, after so many times that I repeated and Sir Cresti confirmed it, that I worked hard to complete the Stamps & Coins Project, but it was suspended (not by me) for fear that Ben might sue us on grounds of trademark or copyright violation. Even a FinMin must follow orders.

Name calling anyone? Let's get this down for posterity: Not calling YOU specifically a retard, Dreu, but only a retard would have forgotten, after so many times that I repeated and Sir Cresti confirmed it, that I worked hard to complete the Stamps & Coins Project, but it was suspended (not by me) for fear that Ben might sue us on grounds of trademark or copyright violation. Even a FinMin must follow orders. So now the order is: Raghead Retard Raging ass Lapdog Wonderful! Also, I never attacked your record as MinFin in that post. Look over it again and you will se that. What I remarked on was the fact that you guys are being the opposition to yourselves. Not about your record.

Xhorxh, Dréu didn't mention any of that, so the insinuation that he had forgotten it was unwarranted. I think you did just what you were expected to by the government as MinFin. And I think the government's policy was reasonable. I support both your actions as MinFin and the government. I say that proudly because I am a RUMPer. Dréu's point seems to be that "we are the true opposition" and "I carried out the government's policy" don't match up very well. It's hard to run on your record as part of the government and run against the government at the same time.

That's really not a "touché" moment. The Immigration Minister is not really a policy setter for the government. The MinStuff, MinFin, and ESPECIALLY the PM are. Maybe I didn't express myself well, but this is what I meant: although those ministers you mentioned can be policy setters, they still follow orders and can be removed from office anytime. As for ZPT or PP member past or present co-operation with the government, in most countries of the world minority party members are often office holders due to coalitions or because they are simply recognized as competent. No majority party can rule totally alone, unless they get almost 100% of the popular vote, which might seem at least suspicious.

Okay so let us get facts straight. It was I, Viteu, who tried to turn the immigration ministry and process to a more apolitical ministry (that's right folks, a member of the ZPT); it was I who lead the anti-Broosking campaign much to the aversion of the LRT; and finally, it was the LRT (your former party, the party from which the PP comes) who was against the "apoliticization" of the immigration ministry as well as equated MY policies of keeping politics out with RUMP policies. So again, your logic is flawed.

Actually, being as he didn't call you a retard directly, I'm putting Raging ass above Retard. I'm glad, however, that you recognize the hierarchy and thus recognize the hypocrisy and double standard of your party.

Not calling YOU specifically a retard, Dreu, but only a retard would have forgotten, after so many times that I repeated and Sir Cresti confirmed it, that I worked hard to complete the Stamps & Coins Project,... I'm finding this a most distasteful conversation now. Calling someone a raging ass may be quesionable, but is physically impossible to be an ass. However, words such as retard should not be used in this fashion. As someone who has family members with special needs I find your comments more than just name calling and insulting. Truly, Truly disgusting.

According to Wikipedia, "Mental retardation is a generalized disorder, characterized by subaverage cognitive functioning and deficits in two or more adaptive behaviors with onset before the age of 18. Once focused almost entirely on cognition, the definition now includes both a component relating to mental functioning and one relating to individuals' functional skills in their environment." It is a widely used medical term.
According to Merriam-Webster, retard means: 1 (often offensive) a retarded person ; 2 a person held to resemble a retarded person in behavior.
I've used it in the second sense, and I didn't refer DIRECTLY to Dreu or to anyone in your family, Eddie. Please go and find something better to do than persecute me. I'm sorry that you have family members with special needs, but I'm definitely not to blame for that!

How does this one fit; ass·hole (âs'hôl') n. Vulgar Slang 1. The anus. 2. A thoroughly contemptible, detestable person. You choose which one fits you best.

Hey, Eddie! You're not like that. You PP and PP-supporting guys talk again and again about name-calling and now you come and throw your good education out the window into a cesspool? What a shame!
This one positively stinks! :-(

Okay... I had resolved to stay out of this thread until such time as it returned to civility. As this has not been the case, and it doesn't appear that it will be, I would like to invite anyone who believes that this election is about issues and not name-calling to come to this thread, and leave the name-calling here. Quickly, before Godwin's Law comes into effect. {Clarification: I'm not singling out particular people with this, but I think we can all agree that this has gotten out of hand. I realize that some of you are just retaliating, and some of you are genuinely trying to discuss the issues of the election. Those of you who are trying to discuss the issues, come with me. those of you who are only interested in making ad hominem attacks on your countrymen can stay here.}

I don't know about the LRT, but I have always believed in removing MinImm from the Cabinet, as I see it as an administrative role, with immigration policy to be debated elsewhere. Argument doesn't stand against the PP, I'm afraid.
