Well. I'm almost certain (without checking) that in the Vuode race only 2 votes were cast in public (my own vote and my opponents vote). The total votes showing equal 5. Two for me, two for Sir T and one 'spoiled ballot'. So, I guess the result does, indeed, include the secret votes.
However, no way of telling if the result includes party endorsements.

Only two were cast in public on Witt, but it was also possible for those who voted by email or the database to designate their ballots as public. The reported results all correspond to listed public ballots. There were only two true secret ballots cast in Vuode. So a real nail-biter, eh? Could even end up a tie!

Clearly the "write-in" experiment for non-Fiôvân Senäts votes is a failure. A disturbing number of people "voted" in provinces which weren't electing a Senator, and a spoiled vote may have caused a tie in Vuode.
This is why the incoming government must make sure that the SoS is under strong scrutiny in his job. MPF likes to do things his way, even when his way doesn't work. Perhaps the SoS should delegate all Senator elections to the provincial governments next time round. But in any case, a "write-in" ballot must NOT be used next time.

I like how Florencia seems to be a tie between Lüc and Mximo.

We have took a massive leap in making our elections electronic with this database, so I don't see why we can't have the ballots programmed in some way with drop down boxes or check boxes like the ones used to fill out online forms. This goes for all the elections going on (Senate, Cosa, Province). It would eliminate ambiguity in trying to decide what a voter's intention actually was.

Actually, S:rda la Mha-Coca also voted in public for Vuode. That makes three public votes on Witt. Just setting the record straight for future discussions. T Edit: Clarifying that this is about the public vote on Witt.

Oh wait, wow, looks like the actual senate results are up, and if Im correct the score is: Vuode: Eovart 3 Trotxa 2 Good citizens - I know these votes are provisional, but I would like to request a recount of the vote in Vuode. It appears that these provisional results omit one vote. Here's the math - Seven Vuodean citizens voted: four publicly, two with secret votes, and one for Vuode. The public vote for S:reu Grischun and me is a tie. What happened to the other secret vote? I thank S:reu Grischun for running a great race. But we need a correct total before anyone can start celebrating. Your humble servant. Trotxâ

The RUMP would like to congratulate all parties in the race, although we urge strong caution about the results.
Many votes once again had serious trouble getting their votes in, and we know for a fact that several people were simply unable to cast votes through the database, and either ran out of time or gave up. Given the halved election time, this is simply unacceptable.
I would like to specifically congratulate, though, the new parties to the Cosa. The PP, LibCon, and PC all did well, taking almost a quarter of the whole Cosa! Similar congratulations are due to the MRPT, which retained 80% of their seats in the face of the strong new parties. My own party also did well in that regard, retaining 81% of their seats. Once again, an overwhelming majority of Talossans have spoken out in their support for the monarchy.
Once again, a good showing by a lot of good people. I await confirmed results with bated breath.

RUMP: 24 public votes* + 16 secret votes = 40 total MRPT: 5 Witt votes + 4 other public votes + 14 secret votes = 23 total ZRT: 2 Witt votes + 2 other public votes + 12 secret votes = 16 total Libs: 1 Witt vote + 1 other public vote + 8 secret votes = 10 total Progs: 3 Witt votes + 1 other public vote + 3 secret votes = 7 total PC: 1 Witt vote + 1 other public vote + 4 secret votes = 6 total TWP: 1 Witt vote = 1 total
103 votes in total, 46 public, 57 secret. Not surprising that the RUMP and the Progs, who both strongly favour the public ballot, got most of their votes that way.
* RUMP got 25 declared votes in the Witt thread. Either I've miscounted, or someone was left out, or (most likely) someone voted in secret on the ballot but also posted in the thread.
