Sir Cresti did make a good point. They are RUMP seats, but occupied by CCCP and LRT. Those individuals should not be labeled RUMP when they did not support the RUMP. On the other hand, to strip the RUMP of those seats by calling them by another party's name is equally unfair. It is a conundrum.

For the record, I think members appointed by Royal Prerogative should be listed as such, and that if these seats are forfeited, they return to the RUMP Caucus (who may again choose not to fill them).

How about this? Each MC gets listed (in the Clark) with whatever party affiliation he wants to be listed with (if any), or as "None" (if none). The "originally-winning" party doesn't really need to be listed; that information only becomes important if the MC leaves the Cosa and his seats need to be reassigned.

Wow. I didn't Wittcheck for a day, and look how what I thought was totally uncontroversial can spawn a thread of such length!

Okay, well, as the guy whose party earned the seats, I say that I don't care how they're listed, as long as someone keeps track of the fact that they were earned by votes for the RUMP, so that (and may God forbid, because the two occupants appointed by the King are way cool honest upstanding guys, even if they were a bit misguided in the recent election) if either of the seats are ever forfeited, it shall come once again to the RUMP (per law; I mean, this is nothing new, folks) for either reassignment or refusal.

Mick, the LRT somehow has lost 5 seats and the CCCP has gained 5. Why is that? When Flip left the LRT shouldn't those seats have remained within the party?

Once awarded, the seats stay with the person until the next General Election, or until they are removed via absence.
