My view:
Regardless of any procedural niceties that may or may not have been followed, the MRPT did quite thoroughly blow up, and nobody seems to be claiming to be the actual existing continuation of the MRPT. So the MRPT no longer exists.
As a result, the only possible dispute is between new parties (whether they all want to register or not) that want to claim a name similar to that of the dead party. But the person bringing the dispute is not claiming to be a representative of such a rival party; his objection to the name was clearly that "It suggests to voters that they can still vote for a long-established party that now no longer exists." Not that it would be confusing with an existing party of his.
That sort of naming might be some mix of impolite and deceptive, depending on how much one considers the new party a spiritual successor to the MRPT. But I think it is legal.

Registration fees (which are $10 US) are most conveniently sent via PayPal to stamps@kingdomoftalossa.net . However, we will do our best to work with you if you wish to use some other method.
Please include a statement of what party you are registering.
If there is no post on Wittenberg (usually in this thread) acknowledging your fee has been paid within 24 hours of you sending it, send email to me at pertgonest@kingdomoftalossa.net to remind me. If that address for some reason doesn't get an acknowledgment within 24 hours of sending to it, there is another email address in my profile here, send to that one, or yell at me through any other means you may have available (including on this thread).

Okay, took a bit longer that I initially hoped when I posted above, but everything should be properly mailed/disbursed as of right now except:
1) The webhosting reimbursment to the King. 2) Part of the Talossan Culture Ministry award.

I am so so sorry for the post I made the other day about the delays in dealing with stamps, etc. Hey, if I spent my money and got nothing back but silence, I'd certainly bring it up. You quite literally could not have known what was happening on my end, because I wasn't saying anything.

I note I strongly recommend both registering your party, and for voting by party name instead of by leader name (if you're voting for a party rather than an independent). You do not want to rely on the judgment of the Arvitieir Prima to give a vote its intended effect; there was a definite case last provincial election that could have supported a lawsuit if someone had wanted to pursue one.
I also note there was also a major discussion in the Electoral Commission last national Senate election about whether a vote managed to meet the technical standards necessary to be counted, which all members of the Commission were unhappy to have to deal with. Follow instructions without pushing their boundaries, please. It makes sure your vote is counted correctly, and it avoids making grief for people who have to discern the election results.

Stamps, coins, and disbursements have not been sent for several months now, though they have resumed starting today. I am very sorry for this.
If you care why this happened, well, back when I had minor surgery in June, the related blood tests indicated I was in the early stages of liver trouble. The likely cause of this was twenty-plus years of taking a higher-than-recommended dose of an antidepressant known for causing liver trouble, and accordingly my dose was lowered to the maximum recommended dose. It was hoped that after twenty-plus years, the depression had either resolved itself or been reduced to the point where I didn't need such a high dose.
This hope was, unfortunately, incorrect, and on the lower dose I became largely non-functional. Everything in my life effectively went on pause while my psychiatrist and I explored other drugs to supplement my primary antidepressant. I considered handing off my responsibilities regarding the Kingdom's finances, except even managing to email people or post on this board that I was having trouble was more effort than I could manage to put forward.
Finally, over the course of February, my psychiatrist and I seem to have found something that works, and I've been getting my life back in order. The whole backlog of stamps and coins and disbursements should get sent out over the next few days.

Members of the Assembly, the the Sextieir Assignment Act is now being voted on. Voting will close when there is a majority of all MAs for or against, or on Friday, March 8, at 7:00 PM in metropolitan Talossa, whichever comes first.

Hello everyone, I suspect I will be of limited availability in September, so I would like to open debate in advance on what we know will be in the Clark. * the Budget* the Royal Civil Service bill - I didn't like it at all, as I was radically against politicising most of the Royal Household, but I didn't keep up with all the edits. I still need to read it properly. * the BenArd impeachment bill - Tentatively in favour, but I need more opinions. This is very important: the only bill I have made up my mind on is the Budget AND all three are quite sensitive bills, so any kind of feedback is very welcome.
My primary concern on the budget is the special clause about postage, which seems to suggest that expenses incurred as an intrinsic part of carrying out sales should be counted as needing official notification, rather than being merely accounted for as part of the process of making the sales, like the PayPal fees. If people are going to bureaucratize the process by which the money that only ever enters the accounts in order to pay for shipping gets expended to pay for shipping, y'all are going to have to find someone else to do the job of recording sales and mailing the stuff out, because it's enough of a hassle as it is.
