Hooligan,
You say I lost "what was coming to me" because I called NASCAR Troy a power freak because he's in my party, right? Well, he personally denied me honors, and he was in my party.. What about THAT!

Trotxâ's political affiliation was immaterial, though his standing in my party did add a bit extra to my conversation with you last night. Had Trotxâ been in some other party, the results of your posting about him would be the same. Your characterization of the CLP and its adherence to the no-multiple-office holding principle (which I believe [though I could be wrong] they explain in their platform only as a goal having to do not with royal appointments but specifically with no one should sit in both houses of the Ziu at the same time) was also out of line. On that same point, all Cabinet Ministers are appointed from the legislators. It's that way in any parliament. In the UK, the Ministers (including the Prime Minister) serve in and are chosen from the House of Lords or the House of Commons. So a prohibition against multiple office-holding cannot possibly apply to a legislative seat and a cabinet post. And the King can do what the King pleases, and no one should say no, so Royal appointments (to the Governorship of Pengopats) should not prevent a person from being considered for a Ministry post. And as to the College of Arms, Dean Bettinger was elected by the heralds, pursuivants, and fellows, per the by-laws of the College. He sought none of these posts, but he deserves them all. RUMP member or no.
Anyhow, let's allow the water to flow under the bridge now and choose to stand above it.

As a side note -
You said (to me) why would I be apart of the RUMP if I don't like the platform.
How could I like a platform that stands against freedom of speech?

Presumably, you would have wanted to know the platform BEFORE you wanted to join.
Except that's not why you did it. You just wanted seats.
Your retort is a poor deflection of Lord Hooligan's question.

I am not replying, just stating. I wanted to be an upstanding member of that party (not just for the seats). But how can I lie and say I don't want seats? Of course I do. Politicians run for office to get in office...Why else

Out of curiosity, S:r Ups, and because I'm not an expert in Talossan stuff and stuff, I feel inclined to ask: what gives you the impression that there is no freedom of speech in Talossa? You've bandied around what I shall term "controversial discussion topics" and we've all sparred back and forth, you and a lot of the rest of us. There have been harsh words on both sides, and, not to attempt to show exact correlations when there aren't any--exact correlations--, that seems to me to show that Talossans very much HAVE freedom of speech: You say something with high dudgeon, and some other Talossan says something back with almost equal dudgeon. You've called folks names, they've called you names, and occasionally we've all called ourselves names. So censorship? Nyecht! (see: it's a negative, because it starts with N.)
Freedom of speech we have; we are a country, but we're a bitty little country, so while we don't censor, there are so few of us, and so many of us outspoken, wordy, and moral folks, that we really like to say "shoosh--for time/good spirits/and stuff."
So--in the spirit of good fun--shut yer cake hole! (metaphorically speaking)
And, since we all know you're not going to, what is your retort, young squarer?
For the record: I didn't have any low opinion of you early on. I thought well of you at the beginning.

I didn't have a low opinion of you until this post. Well, atleast your friend Mark is cool.
Well, any Iraqi under Saddam Hussein could've shouted out f-u, Saddam! That citizen would be punished... The similarities are striking, it's only because we're a small nation that they can only threaten me by blockading any way for me to serve Talossa well.
How you ask?
Well, let's say Sir John Woolley finishes the Bar Exam test - I pass the test! I become a licensed lawyer in Talossa. Great, huh? I guarantee that I'll never be a judge. Why? Because they don't like me. Why? Because I like to voice my opinions. That's why I say freedom of speech is lacking.
In the most desperate of times, let's say I'm the only licensed lawyer in Talossa - They would probably appoint someone else to the uppermost court. That's kinda pathetic, but that's how corruption works unfortunately.
If "they" don't like you, you will be nothing despite your abilities.

Ah. All is clear, now.
You haven't been punished. Because we're a small nation there's only one really punishy punishment we've got: denaturalization--losing your citizenship. Anything else is just stuff going on; serious, sure, but not punishment.
Someone with authority and wisdom back me up, here, please.

The only one here for seats and seats alone is you. For the rest of us the interaction and back and forth of civil discussion, debate and disagreement is the focus. Now before you say "Well that is easy for you to say, you have seats!" I sat SO WHAT. You go on and on about power, your lack of power, someone else's abuse of power etc... but you fail realize there is NO real power. Someone who seeks a position of authority simply for the sake of authority is the wrong person in my book. I want a Regent who does not WANT to exercise the rights of one, I want leaders who would gladly step down if they felt it was in the best interest of the Kingdom. To me that says they will exercise their powers with wisdom and a steady hand. You want seats for the sake of Martuc. You want power, a party, a platform, position and standing so everyone can look and see what an Alpha Male Joseph is. Your interests are your own and the only people who matter to you here are the ones who don't openly disagree with you and well YOU. All you said for DAYS is "Give me seats." "Who has seats?" "Where are the seats, I will join the first party that gives me seats!!" How is that not a beggardly, shameless display of your desire to promote Ups? Last Monday you promised you were a changed man. In this thread you congratulated Trotxâ and then without any provocation and in this very same thread you attacked the man on so many levels and with such venom that I am convinced you lack the common sense and decency Wittiquette demands of its citizens. I for one sincerely wish someone would curb your ability to speak so freely. In my mind your continued behavior poses a risk to Talossan National Security. You are a menace and a threat from within. Your actions will not change and no amount of hinting, suggesting, berating or browbeating is going to get through your thick skull. You are poison and you are ruining a perfectly good experience for the rest of us. Shame on you Ups. Everyone gave you ANOTHER chance and this is how you repay them.

Ups . . . or is it Oops? Anyhow . . . . I have refrained from commenting on your horrid behavior until now. Not only are your statements above in regards to Troy quite unfounded, but they are terribly rude. You should be ashamed. This is a respectable group of people and your attitude goes a long way to disgrace that. I should hope that you keep in mind that the majority of people with whom you choose to use such horrid language and depricate ARE your elders NOT your equals and deserve your respect despite your opinions. May I enlighten you that your opinions could be made in a civilized manner; gentlemen and ladies have been doing it for years and those who could not were usually not invited to the next party.
If your goal is to incite uproar and arguments then I suggest you find a different forum. Though I find your ignorance, solid grasp of the English language and gusto amusing at best, I do not think it is best for the kingdom. Shape up or I may propose that we ship you out.
