I ask the Honorable MC to clark this act. I second this request. In fact, I urge the Honorable MC to clark this act. This bill has my (edit: FULL) support.

I think this act stands a decent chance of passing. I am, at present, in a position of Abstain, but I haven't given up consideration, and I'm glad the idea is being pushed forth.

If Senator Ventrutx works hard enough, he may get this passed after all.

Isn't this the guy who tried to play the martyr all through the General Election (and would have succeeded if he hadn't botched the PM job so horribly) ? Horribly eh? And that is why I lost a VOC ... oh wait. NOT And that is why the RUMP wanted to kick me out... oh wait. NOT Face it you have nothing to argue here and your argument and accusations are weak. Thank God I don't value my life and purpose based on your opinion! -blah blah blah- I am offended. Must be nice to live with such thin skin. Here is your dagger back... just in case you want to use it again later. Oh, and sorry you were offended by my countering your logic in your example. = = = = = = As for beating dead horses... I think Flip is bucking for that award.

I may not vote in favour (well, maybe I haven't made my mind up), but I think as I said on the PP forums. We are teming with ministries and offices, I think it is time to send in the quangos. Then we won't need the Ziu.

Then we won't need the Ziu. The problem with quangos is that they are not accountable to anyone. What happens when an aid quango decides to give money to a cause that no one else in the kingdom supports? We wouldn't have a check nor balance to rectify the situation. This is where a government agency would win hands down everytime.

The check and balance is that no one would again donate to such an agent. They would donate to someone else, who would support causes that they like. And the agent would know this in advance, too.

Captain, this is just my personal preference so I didn't want to put it in the bill but I was thinking just non-governmental organizations or independent institutions. One example, I can think of is using the KIVA website where groups and individuals can loan money to individuals in developing countries. That is just one example of a project that the Agency might initiate. edited to add: www.kiva.org/I heartily concure that Kiva is an excellent example of what TAIAD could support--I am a participant in Kiva at the current time.
