Hey everyone,
I recently launched benito.moonfruit.com, the official provincial website for Benito. First, I'm not sure who has access to the provincial pages, but I humbly ask that whoever does add this link to our front page.
Now....*steps atop his soap box*
One of the biggest concerns we should have goes beyond the military, foreign policy and the legislature. We should notice that activity is rather low. Why is this? When you think about it, it is pretty hard to compete with other unrecognized nations and peoples.
A person with medieval leanings and a desire for a noble title might become involved in SCA where they can participate in a real time medieval community. Those who aren't as fond of sitting in a muddy hole all day long might dedicate their efforts to the countless communities on Second Life.
And here we are, huddled around our humble message board. I believe that building provincial cohesion is essential to our continued success. This cohesion cannot be built within the one board afforded each province on Witt. I think these separate websites are key, not just to helping to get the name of Talossa out there, but to allow our provinces a place to grow.
Moonfruit is free with ads and allows you to place fora (multiple form of forum), as you wish. Just a thought that perhaps provinces could take a more active role.
*steps down*

Woo, better make it ridiculously clear that it's not official if it isn't. And I mean more than just saying it isn't too. That's not enough, man!

Well that's good. I'm assuming you went though all the steps with the government to attain that status? If not, you're most definitely going to run into a lot of problems. You probably already know all of this though. Just giving you a heads up just in case you don't, T.M.
So what does the T.M. stand for?

Hey power is split evenly. We are all the government of Benito by reason of our citizenship in the province.

The best thing about Benito is the trains all run on time.

I'm not sure, but I think the Ziu still have to say it's ok though. I could be wrong. I'm not trying to oppose this, I'm only trying to help him from having any problems (just saying). I actually posted on his site about a week or so ago letting him know that I thought he did a great job. Logic is telling me that if he's the Maestro of Benito, he most likely already knows everything he has to do.

The proposed legislation concerning official provincial websites previously held no provision for provinces licensing websites as "official" this change has been corrected.
Presently, there is no law against a province having a website that is considered their official website.
But...since people seem to like it, I will present it to the Legislative Chancellery for their seal of approval.

Well that's great, man. I wish you luck. I'm sure it'll be great if you put enough time into it.

Hey power is split evenly. We are all the government of Benito by reason of our citizenship in the province. Well, technically, I do hold 6 of the seats from the General Election. But I like to think I've been doing a decent job of keeping things even and fair and opening up our government to every citizen, politician or not.
