Similarly, what about Nevada? It is currently in Florencia's zone, and Nevada is not a mountain state nor a northwestern state. I think Nevada has the possibility to be moved to Maricopa to share this geographical and cultural contiguity between states.

This is true, but I think it would seriously put off the population balance since Nevada does have quite a lot of people and states like Nebraska and Wyoming don't have too many.

Yeah, that'd be the concern with moving Vegas - I mean, you can make many such incidences and debate them, it's just convenient that Minnesota shouldn't terribly overbalance the population of Mussolini.
Obv. Penn is heavily populated (and linked with Mussolini in a Pennhio sense) but I don't think it destroys the population distribution graphs etc.

With the matter explained clearly to me (I have always been a little slow), I will happily support the bill in its current form.

True, but keep in mind that these are still in Florencia's zones. With Florencia closed to immigration, any people from Las Vegas or anywhere in Nevada (wait...are there any more places in Nevada ;D) will have to be put into Atatürk province, which geographically and culturally is much different than where it could be switched to (Maricopa).

I am really failing to see why this would be so beneficial. So what if one province's states have more population? Take a place like New York City. We have how many people from NYC Represented? Considering there are around 8.3 million people in New York City alone, which province it fell under would be significant...
That is, if the population of US Cities and states directly relates to immigration to Talossa. I do not think that our numbers indicate we receive many more people from densely populated areas than we do from areas with less population density.
And, I would like to point out, also, you are failing to take cultural issues into consideration. The Italian-ness of Mussolini (soon to be Benito) is indisputable. Presently, New York and New Jersey (which have large numbers of Italian-Americans, mind you) fall unto Vuode.
The only state with a notably large Italian population that falls under Mussolini (Benito) is Pennsylvania! So think of the poor Italian-American-Talossans in Pennsylvania (like me) who would best be served by hanging out in our little whop-fest of a Province.

It makes sense because it would be much harder for a Pennsylvanian (like yourself) to get to Illinois (a midpoint in the US of your province) than to New York. The states assigned to a province are grouped together so that provincial citizens can meet each other. Can you honestly visualize driving all the way to Illinois?

If that's the main concern then why don't we just rework how we congregate in the US rather than reassign provinces?
After all. I am visiting with you guys in June and we aren't citizens of the same province. So what does it matter?
Maybe I'll amend this same Act in such a way that Dréu (and only Dréu) gets reassigned to Pengöpäts. Any co-sponsors?

I don't think catty responses are mature or necessary in discussion of a Bill that's garnered some support across the board.

I don't think some people understand how Talossa traditionally works.

Well, I'll be uncatty.
I think this is another one of those "Let change something that isn't broke" bills.
I haven't heard one pip of complaint in the past 18 months decrying how the Provinces were set up, who went where, and how a map should be drawn.
Now, all of a sudden, a great travesty is lain about, and we must rush to fix it!!
How about asking those that live in the affected areas how THEY feel about the changes, instead of someone living out side the areas drawing new lines, so it fits their interpretation of what should be?
Is that better?

I thought Mick was just being funny, actually. I laughed, anyway.
