A Proposition on an Orthographic Change

I have mixed feelings on this. I definitely think we should keep -x and -rh, those are two very distinct "Talossanisms"

as for the š, I have no real beef with it, itself. I do kind of like "sch"... I don't really see why we should change it. It looks cooler with sch

I understand this would be a significant change, but the benifits are huge.

A phonetic pronunciation and elimination of unnessecary letter combinations.

Please note, I've changed the proposition reffering to rules regarding the -eux and infinitive verb form endings from taking š to remaining how they are today.

I did this because I realized that these are distinctly Talossan, and would be unfair to change something so deeply engrained in our language.

No, only in future tense verbs. The verb endings in infinative tenses will remain -rh.

So future tense: reieschahra da becomes reiešaša da. But infinative remains reiescharh da.

Note how it says, only in future tense verb circumstances does -rh change to a š, all other circumstances of -rh remain -rh.

This makes it easier to identify future tense verbs due to the orthographic change.

I think that -rh- tense marker is important. It helps identify itself as future. If we make it the same as sch, then it gets harder.

Yes, agreed, but if we change the tense marker to š it will do the same thing.

I would yield to having the š only found in nouns and adjectives with the sound, however, for now, i would like to push with the š in the future tense because it is a great visual clue for the future tense and the sound.

We already have a visual clue! It's the "rh." If you're going to have the š I would recommend you only have it in nouns and adjectives, as you say (or in verbs to replace sch). In other words, just have it replace sch and nothing else.

So the š will only replace all sounds in nouns, verbs, endings other than -eux, and in verbs, but not verb endings.

It eliminates many hard to memorize letter combinations and drastically cuts down on confusion, all while keeping in touch with general Talossinity.

The "x" in words like Renaixença, also makes a sound. I would encourage you to make that an exception as well.

May I ask why??

We can elect to keep certain words, but I believe that the spelling renaišença is completely acceptable.
