I'm returning to Padua on Monday, so hopefully I'll find the Seneschal's coin waiting for my arrival there (assuming it was sent at the address I provided)

My coin has arrived! (Well, it had been waiting for me for a while, probably, but I only remembered to check today, after the burden of both the exams I had to give this week was gone).

Is there a way to track the coin that was sent to me? It's still not here, I'd like to know if it's on it's way.

Okay, waiting then. :) I mean it won't really hit my budget if it's lost, but I would be sad to not receive my preccccsiousss coin..

The trouble is that anything international-with-tracking is silly-expensive, at least insofar as I've been able to get pricing. UPS gives me quotes starting in the $60 range while FexEx and DHL start over $100. Maybe I'm missing a trick somewhere, but the prices I find on the online systems are the same as I got quoted by clerks in person. Even the "we just dump it into the destination country's mail system" quote I got from a UPS clerk was over $25, with a recommendation from the clerk that I send via the post office at the $1.15 standard letter rate. So, anyway. I know I mailed it to you. I don't know what happened after that. It is unreasonable that it hasn't arrived yet. Would you like me to try mailing a replacement?

My experience of mailing anything to Russia that looks remotely valuable is bad, I'm afraid.

I am happy to announce that, against all odds, my coin has arrived today! My grandma, who received it, described it as big and beautiful, and tomorrow I will visit her and take the coin!
Thank you! :)

You were never supposed to feel guilty, since I never asked for a replacement in the first place :) I saw your offer but I decided to wait for a bit more! Thank you for making the coins available, I can't want to get mine :)
