My name is Amada LaFior and if it so please the Squirrel King of Arms, I request the assistance of the College in designing and obtaining arms for myself and my lawful heirs. Also, my favourite color is orange. I am a college student from the provence Fiôvâ. My favourite kind of adventures are those that happen outside, usually involving climbing trees and reading books.

The Dean has yet to recognise this petition, but when he does, I'd like to volunteer my services, since my last project was a dobberpuhl.

We did a tree and two books for Tric'hard Carschaleir's arms. Perhaps something similar, but incorporating a fleur-de-lys (Since "heralds never make puns. They cant.")

So, what did you think of the various ideas proposed? Any of your own?

At first I was thinking this: Quarterly (per cross) azure and argent, a cross-flory gules. But I kind of like the book tree idea.

I don't know that we can actually use the book tree thing... Lack of historical precedence and whatnot. I shall confer with folks on the matter. If we can't find a way to do it, would you prefer the design incorporate both the book and the tree, or default to the cross flory? Perhaps issuant from an open book <tincture> a tree proper? That would be a tree growing out of a book.

Oooh, that sounds neat, the issuant tree that is. How about, pale vert, issuant from an open book argent a tree proper. And what I mean, if I totally butchered that is an green line in the middle of the shield with the white book at the bottom, and a tree (whatever color, brown would be nice) growing from it.
