A CHALLENGE to a proposed amendment to the Organic Law: WHEREAS I'm sure I'm being hasty in doing this right now, WHEREAS the Third Covenant of Rights and Freedoms states: "Third Covenant. The government shall not restrict the free exercise of religion or conscience in worship or conduct, nor shall any preference be given by the Cosâ to any religious establishment. Religious services and rituals not in conflict with law or public order are authorized." WHEREAS The "My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter" amendment via talossa.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hopper&action=display&thread=7075 seeks to make the religious figure Jesus Christ of Nazareth the paramount King of Talossa. WHEREAS this amendment, still in the Hopper, directly contradicts the Third Covenant, WHEREAS were such an amendment to ever be passed, half of Talossa would bail, me among them, WHEREAS the right for people to have their own space to pursue (or not) the most-noble endeavor of finding the truth in the Divine aspect of the universe and beyond in their own fashion - a most-godly pursuit, must be protected, I THEREFORE SEEK an injunction by the Uppermost Cort against said quasi-proposed amendment to the Organic Law in perpetuity. You should start a separate thread. Also, I doubt you can sue over a bill that hasn't even been clarked yet.

In other territories, injunction (if at all) is generally granted only after the bill is passed, but before it receives the assent or gazetted, or anytime thereafter.
This is so because changes may be proposed by the legislators themselves or they may outrightly reject the said legislation.
Let's hope good sense prevail upon the new MCs...

This should be filed the Clerk of the Cort, S:r Brad Holmes who, in turn, will assign it for consideration to a Cort of competent jurisdiction.
