Hope this helps, based on todays exchange rates; 1 Louis = 1.50 US Dollars (USD) | 1 Louis = 1.05 UK Pounds (GBP) | 1 Louis = 1.18 Euro (EUR) | 1 Louis = 1.92 Canadian Dollars (CAD)
| 1 Louis = 2.34 Australian Dollars (AUD)
| 1 Louis = 53.60 Russian Rubles (RUR)
| 1 Louis = 6.34 Israeli New Shekels (ILS) | 1 Louis = 1737.90 Iraqi Dinars (IQD)
| 1 Louis = 14853.00 Iranian Rials (IRR)
| 1 Louis = 1.73 Swiss Francs (CHF)
| 1 Louis = 13.76 Swedish Kronor (SEK)

Well, yes, it helps TODAY, but what about on the day a particular person fills out the census survey? It only has to be an indication you could just set it at the date of publication of the census.

yeah, What Istefan said.
That table is only applicable today, but it only takes 5 minutes to do it. So on the day of the census, we will publish an up to date one and the final data report can state 'applicable to the exchange rate on xx/yy/zzzz'

The chart reversed (for example, "1 Canadian Dollar = 0.52 Louise") is enough to convince me. That makes it a one-step conversion: multiple income by X.

Sorry to Throw in late, (and don’t harass me about the money conversation deal at this point, though I’ll keep it in mind as something I might work on) But do we need income on there? I don’t see any useful reason for it, the government of Talossa at this point isn’t doing anything tax wise, and we have a fair smattering of people who are full time students. Seems unnecessary at least at this point.
Also another thought is that we have a pretty good number of citizens who participate online simply for the general election, though do consider them selves Talossans, So someone who returns the concise survey would aromatically count as a participating Talossan.

That is a lot of information, and makes for some interesting statistics, but I am curious what we plan to use the information for? I probably wouldn't provide that much detail on myself to the "unknown" online world without a good reason to do so. Sorry to be a black hat, but those are just my thoughts.

The same could be said for quite a bit of the information included in the survey, really. I find very often that until you start crunching numbers and playing with different combinations of information, you don't necessarily see the hidden interesting information. ALSO: See my answer to Çelis below for more on this subject.

The information is for Kingdom demographics use. All personal, specific information will be kept strictly private, and will never be available publicly. All that will be published are demographical statistics, such as "X% of citizens identify as Protestant." On the larger scale, it will provide a basis for a picture of how the population of the Kingdom changes over time. In 5 years, we could do another census, and compare to see what kinds of things have changed in terms of the population. Those trends are possibly useful in terms of addressing immigration issues (to cite but one example).

Çelis makes a good point, though, in that the more intrusive the census form seems, the less likely people will respond to it (especially the more reclusive citizens that we would most like to hear from). It's a delicate balance. What would help is introductory language explaining the privacy policy, and stating that all answers are optional and that the respondent only has to answer what they're comfortable with, but urging them to provide as much information as possible for the good of the Kingdom.

Absolutely agreed. In fact, that's precisely what I've written for the draft version.

Sorry to drag up old posts but I would like to ask, what is the status of this project?

Sorry to drag up old posts but I would like to ask, what is the status of this project? I have what I believe to be a nearly final draft ready to roll out. As the election approached and other duties got in my way, I decided to hold off until after the election, and run it by the new administration for final approval, then push it out to the populace as soon as possible thereafter.

Neat. Thanks for the Clarifications. Appreciated.

Is income included in the final draft?

If you do, I thought 1 Lou = US$1.25 rather than US$1.50. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.
