Please forgive my tardiness.
For the past weeks I have been an unhappy hostage of my own recklessness. For some absurd reason, I thought that graduate school would be enlightening. Instead, I have found that composing three substantial papers - on diverse topics - within a one week period has a profoundly negative effect on one's intellectual abilities.
I now cast my vote, regretfully,
Uc.

Ac-chem!
The blue/red-eyed MP from Florencia clears his throat, but not loudly enough to muffle the sound of the bottle being pushed under his seat; the bottle falls to its side and rolls on the cold hard floor, engulfing the room sound. The MP begins to cough loudly, then, looking up, realizes that everyone is looking at him...
Ac-chem!
The MP rises slowly and begins to cough again. He wipes his mouth with a silk handkerchief and takes a few deep breaths. Rather embarrassed that his presence has been revealed, and with the growing awareness that some of these folks probably have expected him to vote for some time, he glares at Polly.
Over the past several weeks I've heard the word 'regretfully' quite a several times and then always 'yes', 'regretfully yes'. I wonder...
coughs several times and, again, wipes his mouth
What does everybody mean 'regretfully yes'? Ans I'll tell you what they mean, they mean the affirmative is regrettable, yes? And then if its regrettable, you see, why vote yes? The affirmative is regrettable? Affirmative! Well then yes! Now I can't tell you what I mean by all that, maybe its nothing, but I don't who knows.
Here's what I do know, is that all these regretablies are followed by smile and eyes drunken with grandeur and grand visions of the future and the promise of self-aggrandizements. Regrettable is what these regretablies really are is what I say. That's what I know!
Tries to squelch a belch, but it mostly gets away
Not regrettably then, but without regret, I'll vote for the no on this one.
Non. Proudly; Non! God Save the King!
As soon as the first sound of gossip ensues he quickly sits and reaches under his seat...

Now that it doesn't matter much whether I vote one way or another...
It does seem better to have a king, even if no more than a figurehead, than to not have a king. Yet also it seems wise to accomodate the wishes of said king's legal guardians. With hope that we shall soon have a new king, I vote UC.
