I truly and sincerely would love nothing more than for this to stop. I don't shy away from a tussle and I don't back down from what I think is right, but I also don't take any pleasure in the conflict. That's why you won't find me seeking him out on Witt. This thread is a good example. It was topical and civil until V started in with crazed venom: talossa.proboards.com/post/162302 Read through it again and see how this stuff starts pretty much every time. It's like he can't see my name on Witt without feeling compelled to start spewing bile. I can 100% promise you that if V doesn't do that, then it won't happen. I just don't do that. It doesn't interest me. He's a little scary, to be honest. With his attitude, it's not hard to imagine him escalating this offline.

No, Lüc is right. With amazing precision you manage to keep saying the things that are likely to make it worse.
I mean, you cannot seriously start all kumbayah and then end on 'oh you know what else, he's probably violent too' (or whatever it was that you were suggesting) and still believe that people will think you're trying to make it better.

Call me a tyrant if you like — it's pretty silly, but hey, free speech. But do it with civil language. Continuing obscenity will get an account suspended again pretty quickly.

FFS, I will say nothing and stay out of it entirely -- if you guys will just promise to find a way to bring it to an end. Seriously, I'm out. If I'm making it worse, then I will let others handle it. Will not comment on it further until asked about something specific. He can go nuts with his venom and I'll just sit on my hands. But fix it, guys. It would be way too easy to just let this slide once he calms down, but then it's just going to happen again.

You don't get to expel people from Talossa. You may look on Stalin or Cromwell with envy, but you will not rule unchecked in Talossa. Now piss off to back under the bridge from where you came.

He's a little scary, to be honest. With his attitude, it's not hard to imagine him escalating this offline. There is precedent for this kind of language in Talossa. The precedent was the breakdown in relations between King Robert I and Sir Tamorán dal Navâ. After King Robert I specifically abused Sir Tamorán in his 2003 Speech from the Throne, Sir Tamorán retorted that perhaps KR1 should "do what your mother did" (i.e., die.) After this, KR1 actually went to look up Sir Tamorán's United States/State of Florida criminal records, and to publish them on Wittenberg, to prove that Sir Tamorán was a violent criminal who needed expelling from Talossa. You see the point? Arguing that angry language on Talossa makes someone a "real-life" criminal and violent threat is precisely how we lead to the kind of final breakdown in civility which leads to National Schism. I implore everyone who thinks that AD is blameless because he doesn't use swearwords when he levels slanderous accusations at V, or myself, to consider this. The really ironic thing is that V himself did this, when he suggested that AD's gaslighting in Talossa might also be something he does "in real life". The Free Democrats successfully persuaded V that saying this was "crossing a line" (the Madison/Gruber line, as mentioned above) and he should delete this, and he did so. And then... AD goes and does it himself. LOL.

Does V, the "legal expert", actually believe that suspending a Witt account is the same as expelling someone from Talossa? Or is he perhaps ... lying?

You prevented a Talossan from having direct access to the Corts and precluded him from engaging his role as a Legislator. Yes, you expelled him in dirext contravention of the Organic Law. For an apolitical monarch, you sure do get off on imploring your shit culture on the rest of us.

Does V, the "legal expert", actually believe that suspending a Witt account is the same as expelling someone from Talossa? Or is he perhaps ... lying? I don't know about V, but considering the Ziu and the Hopper take place entirely on Witt, it is effectively the same as expelling someone from the Ziu, which should not be possible except by the Ziu's own authority, and definitely not the King's. But IANAL.

I wonder if you understand how irritated reading this makes me, considering that the parties of centre and left have asked for AGES for the RUMP to get Sir A.D. to back off with his political tactic of wild, slanderous allegations of corruption and similar, and we were given no response other than a tu quoque argument.
Yes, I know. You don't think it's abuse until someone uses Anglo-Saxon cuss words. With respect, Sir, this is not the community standard.

Every post you make outside of your place as nothing more than a face for this country is a very insult to my existence. Yes, over ten years ago, when I was still a new citizen, I was presented with the question of who should be monarch. I had no history of Talossa. When I asked about the Republic, it was dismissed as a bunch of traitors who had no real gripe. And I accepted yours and the RUMPs representation. Over 10+ years I've seen first hand that you're a cancer to this country. I regret my vote back then and apologize to Talossa for the shit judgment of a 20-year-old in casting that vote. You deserve no applogy, only scorn.

Can I just note at this point that the mere fact that our Head of State knows how V voted points out that the Kingdom of Talossa did not have a secret ballot at that time, making this vote IMHO neither free nor fair.
Yes, I know that a more recent secret referendum has endorsed the monarchy - or at least "a" monarchy. The case for OrgLaw reform marches on.
