I still think it would be a big mistake to further split the community of Ladintschen by creating Yet Another Language Organization (to paraphrase an old micronational term). The CÚG has decades of history, and though it has its faults, I strongly believe it's redeemable. I think we really need to push to bring everyone under one umbrella as much as possible. I would suggest that we talk about how to reform the CÚG charter to 1) make it easier for people to join and 2) suspend the membership of inactive members until they return to activity. I would do everything in my power to secure passage of such reforms, including relentlessly badgering all current members to either participate in the process or resign.

It honestly seems like the very best way to get the members of CÚG to come back to life is for someone to attempt to organise an alternative to their organisation.
Guys, if I'm Culture Minister in the next Government, I will seriously be looking at a legislative solution to this question of organisaziuns glheþeascas, if you guys can't work it out between you. Either make CÚG fit for purpose again, or abolish and replace it, I don't care, but the status quo is intolerable.

I think the bigger problem than any organisatiinal issue, honestly, is simply lack of engagement and activity. We're in a period of low activity overall, but I'm hopefully that that won't always be the case. If the past is any guide to the future, there will be people who aren't speaking up now who will eventually return to activity and say "I didn't agree to that" and decline to use whatever a handful of us may agree on now. And some new users will decide they like the style of those holdouts better than our apparent consensus, and the state of orthographic division will continue. I hope I'm wrong, but I'd feel better if we had substantive input from more people, especially people like Epic who have been avid users of the language but orthographic dissidents.

EDIT: What're all the hidden forms for? What hidden forms? I know there used to be a feature where you could choose a synthesized voice that would speak any word you clicked on, but the site that provided that functionality turned off its public API.
