Bloody hell, if we're going to set up something new why not give up on SIGN altogether? It honestly doesn't matter what we call the organisation.

I'm confused. You were the one who suggested adding another organisastion. Never mind, we'll stick with the one we've got.

I’m sorry, let me clarify:
What I was trying to say was since the CÚG is a ghost organization, those of us here interested in keeping Talossan alive and fuctioning have our own little committee. Of course, this would include SIGN, since it was previously suggested that SIGN join the CÚG. I never meant to make it seem like we throw away SIGN, so my apologies for the miscommunication.

That's perfectly fine also. The main goal is just to get things going with people who actually want to see progress in the Talossan language.

But *if we revive SIGN, how about we leave the whole bureaucratic stuff aside? I don't think subgroups and subcommitees are actually worth the headaches.

So, my original plan was to have three groups: an Orthography Commission, a Grammar Commission, and a Testing Commission. 3 or 5 members on the OC and GC, everyone else in the TC. Roles are self-explanatory, with a simple majority vote to approve any changes proposed in either commission, after which the TC tests the changes by using them in every day correspondence and votes after 3 weeks of use on whether to discard the changes, send them back for review, or accepting them into the language proper, with <1/3 vote discarding, between 1/3 and 2/3 approval for review, and >2/3 for acceptance.

I agree with Marcel, why subdivide an already small group? Everyone could perform all of these roles perfectly.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Are you volunteering to be leader?

Nooo, haha. SIGN wasn’t even my creation, plus I don’t think I have the time nor commitment to try and lead the organization at the moment (gotta love being in the army). I was just wondering if SIGN is going to have a “head” or any sort of leadership structure since we all kind of agreed subcommittees were unnecessary. I’ll gladly be a member and participant, though.

Iac Marscheir seems to be the obvious candidate for leadership, although of course I would like to help as much as I can, both as a Talossan-speaker and if I retain the post of Culture Minister in the new government
