How are we supposed to know when to use î nowadays? L'översteir is a little outdated on that matter. L'Översteir does have pre-2007 spellings in its database, it just doesnt display them on standard settings. Try this link: [clichetz aicì]
pre-2007 is called "Traditional Spelling" and post-2007 "Common Spelling".

Oh, I see. The part that allows that little <select> element is commented out in the page source. Now I have to root through the rest of the code to see if there are any other secrets I missed. EDIT: What're all the hidden forms for?

The problem is that the CÚG is a virtually moribund organisation, whose membership is composed almost entirely of semi-retired Talossans.
Whatever happened to the idea of a Ladîntsch organisation alternative to the CÚG? That was the only thing that got the CÚG creaking into life to defend itself.

My personal opinion is that if persons who were active on this subboard during last few months formed an organization and took the lead in development, that'd be hell of a progress.

We tried that already with SIGN, but this went absolutely nowhere.
I just want there to be a solution to this 10-year-old problem now. How am I supposed to write texts or even make videos in el glheþ if people can't decide how words are even pronounced, let alone spelled?

Why not usurp the language? People will follow ;)

We tried that already with SIGN, but this went absolutely nowhere. SIGN went nowhere, excuse me, because you guys backed down when Cresti rose from his Talossan coma to complain about how mean you were being to the poor zombified CÚG - you compromised SIGN away - and then he went back to sleep. If you are really interested in keeping the language active and updated, you have to be stronger when people who are nothing but conservatism personified creak into activity to stop you doing anything. Try again. To wax political for a moment, this is just like those people who just vote RUMP every 8 months to make sure nothing happens in Talossa and it stays the way it was 10 years ago, when they were active.

I actually have the infancy of a SIGN website on some website creation service somewhere (Yola, I think). I stopped because there weren’t enough active people to support my vision of an organization dedicated to getting the entire community involved in making the language.
If some people would like to help me pare down the organization and help jumpstart it, I’d be glad to continue the project.
I really do believe that making the language a user’s language, rather than an ivory tower dweller’s language will attract more people.
And, if push comes to shove and the ranks of the Ladintschen grow ever smaller, I would not have as many objections as most to imposing a basic Talossan language knowledge requirement for citizens.

We don't need any organisation at all. Just declare yourself "convenor", then call for volunteers for meembership, then have a meeting.

Please do not do this. Talossa and it’s culture has many aspects; people who are interested in, and can help with, one aspect may not be interested in others. I dislike language learning but I love everything else about our attempt at nation-building, so I don’t think you should force it on people. The only things that doing so would achieve is to further reduce the number of prospectives who become citizens, and to compel everyone to learn an amount of Talossan that they will promptly forget unless they wanted to learn the language to begin with.

As Culture Minister I would not require compulsory Talossan because there's no way we could enforce it (what, bring in a language proficiency test for citizenship?); but I would support using much more Talossan in daily life, to encourage people to learn.
