I was Governor of Maricopa years ago, and it's nice to be elected to same in a different province.
No words just yet as to 'vision' or 'purpose' save that my activity as of late will now be greater, giving cause hopefully to the two naysayers to think twice.
God save Talossa!
GV, Governor of Fiovâ

Cxhn. Capitán-elect, two points:
1) you don't take office until Calondâ Gün (this Saturday); 2) what will you do to make sure that the Provincial SoS actually follows the law? ;-)

You're Capitan, not Governor!

Question: Why is "Calondă Gün" actually called "Calondă Gün"? I can deduce "gün" from Turkic "day", but why Turkic, anyway? Mh, no, I'm not in Atatürk...
I guess "calondă" comes from Old Talossan "Calenda", the first (or in Fiôvâ last?) day of the month? Why the weird mix of Latin and Turkic?

Keep in mind that "Gün" can also mean "June" in Talossan; that'd make more sense for me. So "Calondă Gün" means "1st of June".

My, you are right. I forgot that next month is June... mh... makes sense. Carry on, then!
