Another question. Are there any dialects of Talossan?

If I were to learn to speak Talossan fluently, where would I use it (besides speaking to my friends to make them mad)? Aside from corresponding with the handful of others who are somewhat proficient in Talossan, you could write and/or record things to help more Talossans learn the language. Another question. Are there any dialects of Talossan? Not exactly. There are different historical stages of Talossan. Also, there are lots of synonyms of basic vocabulary and alternate grammatical forms in Talossan, such that some of us have talked about how we seem to have the makings of two or more dialects buried within the language, but there has been no real attempt to tease out those dialectal differences yet because we haven't a large enough speaker base to make it worthwhile.

Well, there is Old vs New spelling. True. Some might question whether orthographic differences alone would be enough to define a different dialect, but Talossan is particularly reliant upon written communication, and OS v. NS does involve a few pronunciation differences as well (loss of î in NS, å v. a).
