When should the official nominations for the Senatorial election be held? I was just wondering this, as I'm still not quite sure when the Senatorial elections should be held.

I think official nominations should open a week before the election period.

Election period runs 15 December through 1 January. A week before that would be 8 December.
The election is your ball-game, though. Make whatever rules you want, so long as it happens in that period. I'm not involved for this Province. :-)

EDIT: I was thinking of having the Senatorial election just before the General Election, so people only have to worry about one election at a time. |

Unfortunately, it seems I'll be away from the 5th to the 9th of December on a rowing camp a long way from home, so I am re-scheduling the beginning of the nominations to the 10th of December, so voting will start on the 17th. I apologize for my inconsistency, but this camp thing has just come up. Hopefully this shouldn't throw the election off too much.
