Are there any Maritiimi-Maxhestians honouring our German heritage, by learning German? And what ever happened to the Course in Talossan in the UT?

Alas, no. Someday, maybe.
I don't know what happened to the course... have you contacted the instructor?

I have not, since I figured they must be busy, so best not to bug them.

I'm sure they won't mind a gentle nudge Everyone gets behind sometimes and needs a little prompting.

I do like to learn practice some basic German when I can. Ich vermute dass ich habe zurückgelassen meine Papiere bei des Hotel! Except I'm not from Maritiimi-Maxhestic.

Nice vocabulary. Did you google?

No . I find Google Translate to be a bit inconsistent by itself, so I use it in combination with Wiktionary and piece together the sentences like one does when they are using the translator on talossan.com

Okay! You should keep learning, you seem very promising!

A friend of mine, who recently moved from England to Australia, has just lent me his German-English dictionary, so things are looking up.

Azul Éovart, not too bad, to be honest, there seems to be good talent. The prob is, that German as a language is a real pain to learn, except you live there. But overall, the most important thing is that people understand what you want to say - this is what counts.

Ich vermute dass ich habe zurückgelassen meine Papiere bei des Hotel! I reckon that I my papers near the hotel left have. ( This would be your sentence in a correct German word order. )

Yikes! I guess proper word order is what I should get around to next. Would it be something along the lines of "Ich habe meine Papiere zurückgelassen."?

Yikes! I guess proper word order is what I should get around to next. Just make sure to use a lot of verbs and pile them up last in the sentence. In German, you don't have to make up your mind as what you are going to do until you are finishing speaking.
