My fellow Talossans and Atatürkeys,
With the dissolution of the 44th Ziu, our province’s Senate seat is left vacant. I intend to re-run for the open Senate seat from the most supreme province of Atatürk. But first, I would like to introduce myself to those whom do not know me well.
My name is Brad Holmes. I’m a 30 year old Navy helicopter pilot. I flew the MH-60S out of Norfolk, VA. I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2004 with a BA in History, and a commission into the Navy. I went through Primary Flight Instruction in Corpus Christi, TX where I learned to fly the T-34C. Following Primary, I returned to Pensacola and Milton, FL where I completed Advanced Flight Instruction in the TH-57B and TH-57C. I received my Wings of Gold in 2006 and moved to Norfolk, VA shortly after that. I am currently back in Milton, FL as a TH-57 flight instructor.
I am finishing the final of three classes taught by our neighbor’s Naval War College to earn Joint Professional Military Education and ultimately a Masters' Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. It is an interesting set of classes and readily applies to our national pastime of war gaming.
I was introduced to Talossa by our kind and wise King, King John. I have known the Royal Family since my birth and consider Prince Patrick to be my best friend. It was during the first few weeks back in Pensacola during Advanced that I submitted my immigration application, and a petition was made in my name for citizenship. I received my citizenship on my 24th birthday and have striven to serve King and country since then. I served in the 35th, 36th, and the 37th Cosas with the CLP and later, the RUMP. I have been your Senator through the 38th - 44th Zius and have served as Minister of Defense during the 39th - 44th Zius.
Locally in Atatürk I helped lead the process of drafting our Province's fine constitution. And as I was the Cunstavál, I had the great privilege to proclaim it as well.
I hope to rejoin the great ranks of those serving in the Senate. I look forward to joining the hard, serious work in the Senate. I promise to not embarrass you by drinking too much, or I promise to drink every other Senator under the table, whichever promise you wish me to keep.
Thank you for your time. And please remember during this upcoming election period that an Atatürkey should represent Atatürk in the Senate. I hope to have your support and am excited to hopefully continue to represent you.
God save the King!
