It occurs to me I may not have been clear: Parishes are groups of townships that have the same first digit. So 111-1xx (101-108) are all one Parish; each of the individual numbered blocks are Townships. Though I like the idea of Nietzsche Parish.
Further possibilities: Buffonia and Frédéricville Parish, after the two cantons we ceded in Reunision, or after Tom Buffone and Frédéric Maugey themselves.

Not a big Nietzsche fan, but I wouldn't object to naming parishes after our ceded cantons.

I further suggest we name one of these parishes after S:reu Cresti Siervicül, as I find myself unable to call to mind a more distinguished current citizen of Maricopa--being a knight and a Cort judge, as well as doing a whole lot of language-y stuff, and probably some more of which I'm unaware. Friends, Maricopans, countrymen: what say you?

Since we are in the business of suggesting nominees who are current citizens, I would like to add the name of S:reu Iustì Carlüs Canun to the list.

So, we now have, for names: - Solomon Juneau
- Dale Morris
- Albrec'ht Lupulardit
- John Minot
- Bud Selig
- Gary Schwichtenberg
- Frédéric Maugey / Frédéricville
- Tom Buffone / Buffonia
- Cresti Siervicül
- Iustì Canun
And locations/other: - Capital Parish
- Cass Parish
That makes 11. Unless there are more suggestions, I think we can get it into law once we decide on capital name(s).

Well, of the five of us who've weighed in, I believe that makes 3 in favour, a 60% majority. M:sr Lorentz, S:reu Cresti: Thoughts? If that's all, now we just need to decide where to put stuff. Capital Parish, obviously, will be 113-4xx, since that's where Humphrey House and the Kern Center are. 111-1xx is Cass Parish (after Cass Park). Juneau should be 110-2xx, 111-2xx, or 113-3xx, since those border on Juneau Street. I would suggest making 111-2xx Juneau Parish, with Buffonia/Tom Buffone Parish to its west (113-3xx) and Frédéricville/Frédéric Maugey Parish to its east (110-2xx) 110: Ovestia/Wesernia- 1xx:
- 2xx: Frédéricville/Frédéric Maugey Parish
111: Zuerieiria/Murphysboro- 1xx: Cass Parish
- 2xx: Solomon Juneau Parish
112: Taglheiria/Schneideria113: Sandadia/Prachelion- 1xx:
- 2xx:
- 3xx: Buffonia/Tom Buffone Parish
- 4xx: Capital Parish
Leaving: - Dale Morris
- Albrec'ht Lupulardit
- John Minot
- Gary Schwichtenberg
- Bud Selig
- Cresti Siervicül
- Iustì Canun
These, I have no logical thing set up for, so we can put them wherever we like. (Although if there's anything baseball-related in Maricopa, I'd put Selig Parish there.)

Pulaski Park, in the middle of 112-1xx, appears (from Google Maps) to have the only baseball diamond in Maricopa. So that might be a good choice for Selig Parish.

It's your province, but do you really want to name parishes after current citizens?

You'll have to look for it, though, on Google Maps, because there is another Pulaski Park across the river from Talossa in Milwaukee. (As in, you can't just search for it and expect to find it.) I have seen it though, and I love the location! With all the townhouses surrounding the field, it looks like a mini-Wrigley Field. Just add ivy. It's your province, but do you really want to name parishes after current citizens? I don't mind it. It's kind of a history capturing thing, in my opinion. Years from now, when people want to know why Selig parish was named Selig parish, for example, they'll have to dig around and find out for themselves. It encourages immersion in history.

Well, I mean, if we are naming them now, why not name them after great current citizens? For one thing, we were running out of names anyway, but more importantly, I would think it more of an honor to be honored while you are alive, rather than after you die, renounce, take an extended leave of absence, etc. I do completely understand your position though. If we had a few more possibilites--we were already resulting to landmarks--we might push the current citizens down the seniority list a bit. I also think that both the nominees have gone above and beyond their respective calls of duties, and have been essentially for greasing the wheels on the Talossan Machine.
