There are some people that want to appoint Jesus hutschînd Christ...as King of Talossa!
I'm not all hell-fired keen on having a King in the first place but I'm sure as hell not happy with the idea of having Jesus Christ as my King.

I'm not all hell-fired keen on having a King in the first place but I'm sure as hell not happy with the idea of having Jesus Christ as my King. See, they payed their 20 dollars and got their 2 votes to sit in the Cosâ, and now they want to have some fun for the money they payed. The strange thing is that this proposal is attracting so much attention and debate - wouldn't happen in a truly secular society, or would it?

The CeR should have saved it's money and just started a church.

Maybe.
Anyway I'm bewildered by the impression that apparently a lot of citizens seem to be afraid that a proposal like this could slip through and turn Talossa into a theocracy of some sort. While everybody should laugh out loudly, shrug and turn around to discuss more important questions, IMO.

In my opinion, that stupid proposal should have never been made in the first place. It's not the thought of it passing that pissed me off. It was the fact that it was proposed to begin with.

Some of those who know me since the early days of Penguinea may remember that I used to turn wild whenever religious debates flared up for a too long time. I kind of chilled out and got more tolerant in this (tolerant to the ones who don't understand that religious arguments are giving me a negative kick), but I can hear you.

True. Your name from now on is Dav The Amazing. Also, Dav The Amazing should talk about himself in the third person.
Seriously, guys: my initial response to that bill treated it as the obvious joke it was. However, I don't live in a country where Christian theocrats are a major threat, so I don't blame our American liberal compatriots for reacting badly.
