What's going to happen to the PC sash? Are we going to keep it in rotation?
If we're going to retire the sash, can I have it back?

Interesting question. Technically, the two existing sashes were the property of the Republic, weren't they? So it would be up to the heirs of Republic to decide what to do with these. Kind of off-topic: I'd love to have one for my own museum, so to speak, maybe a remake. After all, I've been one of those who were entitled to bear one... retrospectively.

The elected Chief Executives could wear them ceremonially for the sake of tradition?

Not before Talossa is a Republic... yes, we could let Dav be a "keeper of the sashes" till the wonderful day when Republicanism is restored in our country.

I actually kinda like Deet's idea. The sashes are held in trust until the nation returns to Republicanism.

One of the sashes disappeared, didn't it? That was the reason why I made the second one.

One sash is in the possession of former citizen and President Txec dàl Már, who I think lost it in his filing cabinet. The other one is in my storage cupboard. I think that we should have a debate in the Fiôvân General Assembly as to what happens to it and other relics of the Republic. I would be happy to mail it back to Dav, but I would prefer that we start a museum of sorts. Perhaps we could do both at once and Dav could run the Museum.

Miestrâ Schivâ - which is the correct manner of wearing the sash - with stars over the left breast - ala D. N. Vercáriâ, or the right breast - as in your own photo?
Or perhaps I am confused due to a mirror image or massive currency consumption or ... something. MAG

It's a mirror image.

It was suppose to be over the left, i.e. the stars over the heart.

Btw., what about leaving the sashes where they are, for the time being? The sash wasn't introduced and created before the end of President Anglatzarâ's last term, that is, at least I was only posing in the sash, two years after the last days of my term.
So only the Presidents Dál Màr and Schivâ have really been entitled to wear the sash during their entire terms, and we kind of can assume it were their sashes. Whereas, the sash of the last President of the Republic may be passed to the next legal wearer of the sash, once there is one.
I also had some kind of a draft idea, of which I don't know if it's a good idea. What if the sash was added to the regalia of the King, as he is representing us Republicans, too, after the Reunision? It might be kind of symbolic if he is wearing the Republican sash on important Talossan holidays, such as the Ziuâ dal Naziún (Dec 26).
(kind of, the sash is the original, while the King's crown is a replica, if my memory serves)

If Ián Tric'hardsëfiglhu Lupúl, our sworn feudal overlord, would be happy wearing the Qator Itrìns over his breast I would happy to kneel before him and shout many Huzzahs.

Ah, the follies of youth! I would never kneel before anybody, but maybe that's only because nowadays my knees are so terribly hurting (but if I dared, I would be shouting like hell, and it wouldn't be huzzahs).

I'd be honoured to wear it, in celebration of the Republic-that-was (little Firefly reference there) and the Reunision, if y'all want to make it part of the royal regalia.
