The Woodwright's Shop. Roy is showing how to build a bookcase with traditional hand tools. I love that show.
[Note: I had to bring some of the old topics to this board. Somehow it makes it feel more like home.]

I watched a documentary about Miyamoto Musashi last night. It was very interesting.

Who's that?
(Coincidentally I'm thinking of starting a "Currently reading" thread now, because my brain parachuted into remembering Yukio Mishima, who actually is not my current reading, but anyway...)

Shinmen Musashi No Kami Fujiwara No Genshin (AKA Miyamoto Musashi) was a 17th Century Samurai who is perhaps the greatest swordsman in history. He wrote A Book of Five Rings which is required reading for warriors. It can be found here: samuraiconsulting.ca/5rings/

A documentary called 'The Real Robin Hood'. It was very good but they didn't really say who Robin Hood was.

Just seen the film adaptation of The Hunger Games. I confess to having never read the books, but if they're anything like the film then I bet they're fantastic.
