As I think it´s taking too long to get the reunision process finished and people on both sides seem to be scared of taking the final steps to do so, I´ve just resigned my Republic citizenship and ask to be accepted once again as a Kingdom citizen. I hope those who feel the same way will come along.
I couldn´t help but thank King John, Lord Hool, Miestra, Deet, GV and last but not least Istefan Perþonest, without whose initiatives and efforts the long-awaited reunision would not be possible.
I´m back!

But don’t forget to go to M/M so we can make the process of creating the 8th Province easier!

Hool can't assign anyone anywhere. The Seneschal, though, can (under the recently-amended TUIRA) instruct the Chancery to grant citizenship into a specific province; she has promised only to exercise this newly granted power to grant citizenship to those persons involved in reunision (and after reunision is complete, we will likely Hopper a modification or repeal of this extraordinary statutory power, perhaps, if not repealed, we may make its future use contingent on authorisation of the Ziu before it can be used during any particular Cosa term). This is what a reunisioner (like you) will be seeing happen.

Im really happy to see you return, but do you really think reunision is going too slowly? Im actually amazed with the speed of things, especially compared to the normal pace of Talossan affairs. A year ago I still guessed it would take decades before Talossa would ever be one again. I think some thought it was impossible.

The trouble is that impending Reunision has largely squeezed the life out of the Republican Witt, because what can they start there with a move on the way? It's like living in a house that's been packed up for a move. So, even moving objectively quickly is going to feel subjectively slow.

Personally, I'm quite happy with the pace of reunison, all things considered. This isn't meant to be an easy affair, so I think we've done exceptionally well thus far. Though we do need to be mindful of the effects that excessive stagnation.

I may seem somewhat impatient at times, but then on the other hand I am happy to see that, for instance, representatives of the Provinces are protesting against a "top down" legislation that might make them puppets in the process. That's telling me that this Talossa here isn't soooo streamlined in its political structures as it might appear at first sight.
Yet there is one thing to consider: Our next (Republican) Presidential elections are due in May; I sincerely hope that by this time we (Republicos) will not have to make a choice between electing a Prez who is kind of doomed to become a figurehead who is sinking fast, or an unconstitutional solution. I sincerely hope that President Schivâ can lead us to our new home before we are in the constitutional doldrums - IMHO that is a matter of our Republican pride.
