Where does it state that the King is better than any other Talossan? Who has ever said that? He was chosen, no, elected by the citizens of the Kingdom was he not? In fact, no one else even wanted the job. We went from a corrupt, dishonest King to one who is admired and respected by the vast majority of citizens, me included. If individuals do not like the monarchy system then by all means seek out another that they do like, or better yet, work with the electorate to change things....if they agree to. I was drawn to Talossa because I liked the constitutional monarchy idea. ( I already live in a Republic) and here was a chance to participate in one.
This is an absolute though. We are the original Kingdom of Talossa, with a continuous history since 1979. The other two Talossa's that currently exist were once a part of this Kingdom and now are not.
As my grandfather reminded me "Any Jack Ass can kick a barn down but it takes a carpenter to build one". Lets keep building.
God Save The Kingdom and God Save our good King John!

Hear hear, Baron!
There is nothing wrong with our Kingdom or our form of government.
We have taken the dream of a boy who tenaciously refused to let that dream die when he became a man, and we have protected and nurtured and grown it even when his dream became shared so widely that he himself gave up on it because it was no longer all his.
We have survived the departure of citizens for good reasons, some for inexplicable reasons, and many for simple loss of Talossanity.
If people don't like what has been built in these 30+ years, they're free to leave. But the Kingdom will survive, as it always has, and it will continue to remain, as it always has, a united, single Talossan nation (a nation that has former citizens, some of whom choose to keep up with -- if not obsess over -- events in the nation they left, just like pretty much every other nation of the world has).
But Talossa has survived and it will survive, and seems pretty safe and unthreatened to me. And all in all, supercool.
