I am not speaking for the Prime Minister or for the government for that matter...but I do not see any need for new elections. The remaining members of the currrent parties will be free to divide their seats as they so choose.
I am pretty sure that we will be hearing from Gary Cone very soon, I have full confidence in his abilities.

Azul,
While I understand your point of view Max, we do need new elections because there is not a new Kingdom- the Kingdom of Talossa remains as it always has. The only thing that is different is that some citizens have committed treason by creating a republic of "Talossa."
Do we need unity now- certainly yes, more so than ever. But I do not believe that new elections are the way to do that. I know that His Majesty's government are working on several plans to address this crisis.
Personally, I feel that the best course of action is to ignore the traitors. There is no doubt that their actions are completely illegal. They have no right or ability to depose His Majesty and to claim sovereign Talossan territory. The traitors are certainly not Talossans, when they created their farce of a republic they ceased to be Talossans. It was a choice made by them, and the best policy is to ignore them. They are not interested in returning to Talossa, and we cannot really prevent them from playing their little game.
I hope you understand my point of view about new elections. As for a new SOS, the government will of course be appointing a new SOS with the necessary skills to carry out his or her duties.

I made a typo in the first line of my post above- instead of saying we do NOT need new elections, I typed, "we need new elections."

Azul 1) A dead line for the people to chose their camps Not needed. Everyone has pretty much declared one way or the other already. 2) A new law to declare the republican illegal here Not needed. Talossan law already forbids citizens of other micronations to be citizens of Talossa, unless they renounce the other first. 3) A new law to kick out republicans of Talossa border What border would that be? Aside from the fact that we have no authority to eject someone from their real-life residence, the only Republican even near the Greater Talossan Area is JJ -- and he resides just outside of the actual GTA. 4) Nominination of a new SoS and negociation for the data base system Agreed. 5) A commando to take back the archive in the hand of traitor Pope Ben had thoughts of making that trip himself, but this other trip came first. I am very limited, by finances, in my ability to travel. I don't know who else could. 6) A special cort justice to judge the republican of trahison Pending appointments, of course. I may just PD something. 7) Reduce the number of seats in the cosa from 200 ---) 50 Remember, the 50-'seat' Cosa needs more people to actually operate than the 200-'seat' version. Given that people is one resource we are drastically short on, I prefer to keep Cosa 200. Stop thinking of the seats as 'seats' and start thinking of them as 'shares' in the governemnt -- whoops, I forgot, you hate all things corporate, that may not have been the best analogy to use... :-) 8) The nomination of new senat leader The Senators take care of this among themselves. This is also an almost entirely ceremonial post that we can probably do without for the near future. 9) The return of the PIG agency Huh? Why? Maxime TEXT

Azul,
Maintaining the current election results is the best way to go, for an obvious reason: These ARE the election results. The PC forced ridiculous election rules down our throats in an attempt to steal the election--and the voters responded, brilliantly, by not letting them do it.
The PC ran this election. They got the election THEY wanted. Their opponents won, so they quit in the face of voter outrage. This Cosâ is their tombstone. :-)

negociation for the data base system There is nothing to negociate : the database will remain online, read-only, for both the usage of the republic ( should they want to consult it ) and the kingdom. It won't be updated, but the information in it will remain there.

Martin-Pierre,
The nicest thing your party-calling-itself-a-country can do, is simply stop using the word "Talossa." You left Talossa. I have no problem with that. I wish you success in whatever efforts you decide to pursue with your own micronation--but calling yourselves "Talossans" is dishonest.

I joined the republic only last week, several weeks AFTER the secession, after Ron left for the republic, after Devin decided to become inactive and learned about it at the same time of other, when they deleted the accounts from Witt ( including mine !). I suggest you e-mail Michael Pope about that one... Regardless, the Database will remain online for all to use. I worked hard on it, and it will remain there. In fact, if you want, I can even allow people to add historic data, such as old bills, but not new Cosâ or Clarks.

This is actually a reponse to something PM Cone stated up above the mpf/KRI exchanges. DESPITE my clear post to the contrary of 6/22 which has been read by 50+ people, Cone states:
"What border would that be? Aside from the fact that we have no authority to eject someone from their real-life residence, TEXT -- and he resides just outside of the actual GTA.
Once more for effect:
1) I AM a member of the KINGDOM of Talossa. 2) I did NOT join the Republic of Talossa.
Thank you.
JJ
PS It is not even accurate to say that I am a "Republican" in the US sense. I have no political party affiliation therein.

(boy, I hate this friggin' message board) Try to boldface something and it doesn't work, nor can you follow up anything once someone else has beaten you to it. Now it says there are "too many connections" to the server! Jesus! :-(
But that aside, Cone stated:
"What border would that be? Aside from the fact that we have no authority to eject someone from their real-life residence, the only Republican even near the Greater Talossan Area is JJ -- and he resides just outside of the actual GTA."
Thanks, JJ
