HOW are elections performed (physically/electr.) ?

forgive a relatively new citizen, but my question is:

HOW are elections performed (physically/electr.) ?

Meaning, WHERE / HOW can i elect this or that candidate ?
By sending Email, Elect electronically (if so, where ?) ?

For national elections, in brief, it works like this:

When the election starts, the SoS will email you a ballot. The election runs for 30 days. During that time, you can vote via snail mail, email, or posting your vote in a thread created for that purpose by the SoS on Witt. Telephonic voting used to be common too, but I'm not sure whether the rules allow for that anymore (it doesn't leave a record after all).
