A good read indeed! I did find it amusingly ironic, however, that one arguing for a thaw in relations between Loyalists and Republicans -- a relationship primarily chilled by disagreement with (disapproval of, resentment of, bitterness about - take your pick) a Manner of Exit and the reaction to that disagreement/disapproval/resentment/bitterness -- could argue with a straight face that JP should not participate in the thaw process because the "manner of JP’s exit from the Republic burned more bridges than can ever be imagined."

I see where you are coming from, Cresti, but I am not at liberty to discuss JP's exit, alas. However, you are always invited to come and visit us on our Wittenberg and find out for yourself by hearing from the offended partie(s). I like to think that perhaps if you guys had taken more of an initiative some years ago and done that sort of thing (visiting us on Witt - Woolley, where are you!!), we just might have made a triumphant return to the Kingdom long ago. :-) GV

Can't we agree to disagree? Now that Ben and his family are no longer relevant to the Kingdom, that voting is now open and honest and that we have become an international community can't we stop this bickering and finger pointing? Some who hold grudges forever will judge those seeking unity as traitors. The majority though should be strong enough to reach out.

Some of us tried to visit and post on your forums, but were not permitted. How soon we forget, hm?

Of course that was when the Republican's Manner of Exit was as recent for the Loyalists as JP's is for y'all now. So each side kinda sat around expecting that the other should make the attempt to reach out. Oh well!

And yes, the manner of our leaving was a bit...abrupt. However, I urge you to consider what you and others of you would have done had you been in our shoes. :-) GV
