Has anyone ever brought up Talossa claiming part of the moon if anything is still unclaimed? Sorry for posting on random topics when I'm still not a citizen. -- Adam

Or perhaps a new planet named Talossa? Course we would have to get there to plant the flag.

Wait a second, as Pluto has been denounced as a planet by everybody except us, we should claim it! And who says we have to plant a flag? Has any Talossans ever been to Pengöpäts?

Right! We'd be the first state with an extraplanetary colony! Great idea Adam!

As I'm not involved in politics, does somebody mind/want to bring this up for legislation? Or can I do that?

It's rated green on Web of Trust but, I'm talking about just claiming Pluto like we do the GTA or Pengöpäts.

There was a time, in the early '80s, when Talossa made various silly and unenforceable claims to bits of land here and there around the world. That practice was abandoned, wisely I believe, since it tended to reflect badly on our entirely serious and perfectly well-established claim to Pengöpäts.
As for the Regipäts itself, *of course* it's ours. I mean, who else's would it be? You don't suppose France wants to go up against our navy, do you? And Wisconsin, well, they know where their bread is buttered ...

Yup, along the same lines as the King here....
Although I think the idea is pretty good, based on merit, I can't help shake off a niggle that by doing this we would be acting a little 'bug' or 'micro' nation-like. Our stake to the GTA is [more than] considered very serious and legitimate. I don't know how legitimate an interstellar land claim could be regarded.
That said.... Let me say that I am really impressed by the fact that a Prospective has comeout onto the main board posting. Actually not just posting, but posting with an idea. I like the initiative. Something we are not seeing an awful lot of. I also admire the 'standing of your ground'. In fact, I don't think you should drop this idea just because a few of us are against it. Keep running with the ball and see where it ends up! Well done!

I understand why the random claiming of land was abandoned, and I agree with it, but I do think that we might be able to approach this seriously somehow. I'll think about that one... Adam
