When I ran for Seneschal of this beautiful province, I promised I would make the province more active. Eh, well, I think I shouldn't remind everyone of that, because so far, I didn't. I'm trying to do so, but it turned out to be a little bit harder then I thought.
It started promising: Almost every Cézembrian voted during the general elections and we were one of the first provinces to actually have something like a majority coalition. With a ZPT Governor-General, a CRO senator and a PP Seneschal and a coalition between CRO, PP, ZPT and FGP, Cézembre seems to be the most united province of the kingdom.
Still, nothing happens here. Nobody seems to care about this province. In the Senäts, we are represented by the best Senator of Talossa, but besides that Cézembre is asleep.
I want to ask every Cézembrian: What can we do to wake up this province?
Every idea is welcome.
Some thoughts:
Everyone knows I created a provincial website, but no one seems to be very interested in it. So far, only three people registered to the website. The website contains a lot of information about the province, a news page and a forum, so once again, I would advise everyone to have a look at it: www.cezembre.moonfruit.com.
The constitution: We still don't have one! I asked our constable about it, but he said the king hasn't responded to his requests. We might send a pm to him, in the name of the Cézembrian people, but I'm don't think that would help much. We could also just act as if it has been ratified ans start passing bills by majority of l'Etats.
New citizens: The province seems to be a perfect place for welcoming new citizens. I think I'll just send a message to every new Cézembrian from now on, telling him/her about our province.
We really should create some provincial stuff, like a motto and an anthem and provincial food (maybe something with fish? Cézembre is an island after all.)
We could also just leave it. Just vote on a provincial assembly and a provincial premier every eight months and on a Senator every 24/32 months. I think it would be a shame, but maybe it is just not possible to have a province that is as active as Vuode, Benito or Florencia.
Anyway, what does everyone think about it?
