Why not have a thread for this, huh? Here's the first contribution: For Cosâ: PP For Province: PP ... -CCCP: Cünmilvoc'htéirs' and Cybercits' Coalition Party You're about two parties behind your leader, Vuri. If only you were three, you'd be voting RUMP. Oh well, better luck next time. :-)

Day 1 down, 29 to go! Cresti, will you be doing a review like you have in the past? They are always so insightful.

I remember the last election. The results were pretty similar to this in the first days.

I made a similar observation. Actually, I believe the last two elections signal this. The Talossan "left" tends to vote early while the rest of Talossa votes later on. I remember the LRT being ahead of the RUMP for a day or so.

I concur with Alexander's observation which is why I am nervous for the remaining 29 days. But there is no rest for the nervous...or the weary.

Who knows Breneir-- things have a way of changing and new surprises like to just pop up around election time! I seem to recall a primary in Iowa and massive protest in Iran (not that there would be that here, being as the open ballots make it almost impossible to have voter fraud) :-)
The combined influence of the many opposition parties may just overpower the current majority party.

I think it's plain the current standings don't reflect the end result in any detailed way. My current statistics have a moderate chance of forcing the RUMP out of the majority, depending on a few factors...but we'll see, eh?

My favorite thing about the actual election thread is the string of new avatars and personal coats of arms from all the rarely-heard-from citizens.
And flowers and unicorns and bumblebees. *

I hope great Talossans Ián von Metairia and G. Rajala won't strike out this election...

The RUMP is seriously behind the times this election: we have only had one party name, we are running way behind when it comes to bitter public invective, and I don't even remember the last time we tried to attack the record of a Talossan politician.
But seriously on one point: the banners encroaching on our board are getting ridiculous. I like S:reu Ursum's banner for the PP: small but legible, it gets the point across without having to be huge.

While my banner may be fairly sizable, I'm looking at Xhorxh

Vote for the party with the smallest banners, the party that won't carelessly waste your screen real estate, the RUMP!

Well done, pal! Preserving our history is part of the ZPT's nationalistic projects!
One more reason for voting ZPT!
