Now that Sir Troxta seems to be active again, perhaps he will be interested in resuming work to build Vuode?

Well a lot of it falls on Sir Troy. He is our Senator but doesn't seem interested in getting the local government going. We need our Senator to be completely active on the provincial and federal level.

We need our Senator to be completely active on the provincial and federal level. Wow. I've searched Article IV: Election to the Senäts and Article V: Composition of the Senäts thoroughly, and I don't see a thing in there about how Senators are supposed to be active on a provincial level. If you have a list of Senatorial duties and obligations to the provincial government, please share them. Curiously yours, Sir T PS: Viteu - you might want to review this: Some people prefer to use their Talossan names on Wittenberg. Respect this preference. Even if you know that Ups Ansadar’s real name is Joe Blow, on Wittenberg you should call him “Ups” or “S:reu Ansadar”.
WITTIQUETTE RULE 12: Use only Talossan names for people who prefer to use them.

Now that Sir Troxta seems to be active again, perhaps he will be interested in resuming work to build Vuode? Actually, I am active. Always have been. But not everything in Talossa happens here on Witt. There's more to Talossa than a web page and a chat room. BTW: I am working to build Vuode. But not everyone is included. Thanks for noticing. Sir T

Actually... you know Sir T... it's not about being a senator really. It's about being a citizen of Vuode. But yes, since we lack real leadership and you are the elected representative from our province I don't find it weird at all that the task of rebuilding should fall on you.
That is the most rude and uncalled for thing I've ever heard you say. If not everyone is included (there are only 9 of us, with only about 3-4 active it shouldn't be too hard) count me out of Vuode. I will not participate if that's going to be your attitude.

But yes, since we lack real leadership and you are the elected representative from our province I don't find it weird at all that the task of rebuilding should fall on you. So - following your tortured logic is tough, but let me see if I can use it first as a statement, then as an analogy: You're asserting that a Senator should take over leading a province when there's no other clear leader. By this reasoning, you would then assert that when Eliot Spitzer resigned as Governor of New York on 12 March 2008, the only logical people to take over as leaders of the Empire State would have been Senator Hillary Clinton or Senator Charles Schumer. Dreu - you may want to reread the Organic Law on the role of Senator. You might want to look closely for the concept of separation of national and provincial powers. Even if you advocate for that kind of senatorial coup to happen in New York, it isn't supposed to happen in Talossa. Sir T EDIT: Fix that pesky noun/verb tense agreement.

Sir T,
Sorry for the misuse of your name. I have heard many people refer to you as "Troy" and honestly thought it was a natural shortened version of Trotxa, my mistake.
Moving on, what you have basically said in your posts is thus: I am a Senator elected by my provinces citizens but am not responsible to answer to those very people from my province. Mr. Senator, you are dead wrong! I am a citizen of NYS, any official that is elected to represent me me is responsible to answer to me, this is the very idea of a representational government.
If you are working to build Vuode, you should contact every single citizen in the province. We do not have a large citizenry and it would only be logical to get them involved. But I ask, what have *you* done to build Vuode? Show us some proof instead of just saying it out of convenience on Witt. Yes, Talossa is more than just Witt, but for many of us cybercits, Witt is our main lifeline to Talossa. The "Talossa is more than just Witt" is such a cop-out and it is tired.
Finally, by my logic, if the government of NYS had collapsed and became non-existant, I would have expected Senator Clinton or Schumer to step up and help set up a new government, to call on a constitutional convention, to work with whatever tools they have to get NY running again. But, then again, you're comparing a state of 19.5 million people to a Talossan province of 11 (13 now?). That is an apples and oranges comparison. Hell, comparing Vermont (least populated State) to California (the most populated state) in many regards is something that is difficult to do.
~V
P.S. Sir T, one final question. How do you think it makes you look when you respond to the concern of the citizens of the province where you are DIRECTLY ELECTED in a condescending tone? Show more respect to your constituents, regardless of how you feel towards them.

Sir T,
I'd also like to add, you take up two seats of the Assembly. Even if you want to make a play on this "I'm a senator therefore not responsible to the populace and helping to build my province because it is not the role of a senator" card, you seats on the Assembly negates that.

Is this really where I want to be? Hmmm, If you have a little look around the Vuode board youll see this happens quite a bit. In fact, look around Witt in general and youll see Dreu spouting these sort of vile attacks. Dreu, the only thing getting tired around here is your semi-constant abuse towards those who you consider 'opponents'. Can we please give it a rest?

I noticed you have neglected to bring up the condescending tone that is found in may of our Senator's post. Could you be a little more fair next time instead of just pointing to one of our citizens who has tried to get Vuode running and involve everyone instead of working "behind closed doors for an eternity while producing no results?" We're not going to get anywhere by pointing fingers. If you wish to stop the mud slinging, don't jump in on it. Dreu was completely right to state what he did, if you should be reprimanding anyone, try the member of your party who has complete disregard for the people of this province. ~V
