Azul!
Wow today I have been granted several great honors
Firstly having been granted Citizenship to the kingdom
Secondly I have also had the Honor of having my Province being determined to be Maritiimi-Maxhestic which is in every way superior to every other place in numerous ways, all of which are entirely verifiable.(I cant remember were I heard that)
Thirdly for this to happen at the same time as Jamie Dougal Armstrong another new Talossan Australian
I look forward to Meeting you all and serving this great province
Time to party! time to open The Champaign (their is enough for everyone i promise)
Long Live The King Long Live Maritiimi-Maxhestic

Man! People are really cocky about their provinces!!
Nah, it's a good thing. It's called pride. But hey, I'm also in Maritiimi-Maxhestic. ;D
It seems that our province is one of the faster growing provinces. If we recruit some people, we could reign.. SUPREME WITH COMPLETE DOMINATION, AND MONOPOLIZATION OF POWER OVER ALL!!!...
Sorry, that would be the power monger side of me. I call him Hannibal.

Sorry Cody --
Unless something changes, you won't make it into Maritiimi-Maxhestic. That province is closed to immigration. You will probably have to be cocky about some other province and (like the rest of us) just roll your eyes at the Maritiimi-Maxhesticaes.

Oh well, it's not a problem at all. Thanks for the heads up, Lord Hooligan. So which ones can I choose when the time comes?

Um, Actually you don't get to chose, except in very rare and specific instances. Here's the law that governs where people go: www.kingdomoftalossa.net/index.cgi?lingo=&page=Statute&act=34RZ9 13a: All provincial citizenship assignments shall be made when the province to which the citizen is assigned is OPEN to nonresident immigration on the day prior to the naturalization of said citizen. A province shall be CLOSED if its population is equal to or greater than twice the population of the smallest province (by population) on the day prior to the naturalization of said citizen. 13b. For purposes of this Act, provinces shall be listed in the following circular order: Cézembre, Florencia, Atatürk, Vuode, Maritiimi-Maxhestic, Maricopa, Mussolini. 13c. No citizen may be assigned to a "closed" province. In the event that a citizen's assignment may place him in a "closed" province, the citizen is assigned to the next province listed in clause 13b which is not "closed."

It helps keep the provinces from becoming too huge compared to the others. So right now I'm not part of any province?

You are potentially going to be a Marcopian.

Why do you think that? For some reason I get the feeling that being that isn't good... I don't know, it's just a feeling haha.

You're right: Maricopa is generally regarded as one of the inferior provinces, along with Cezembre, Florencia, Ataturk, Mussolini, and Vuode.
I express my deepest regrets that you could not be part of a cool province.

How did I know! I swear, humans do have a 6th sense.
But heyyy, no worries. I'll just have to help them become the best. Some people don't believe that it's good to feel more superior than another, but in my eyes, it gives the "inferior" one a huge advantage. One of the most beautiful things in life is to prove another wrong. Not as in a debate or something, but proving your true worth.
So tell me this - why is Maricopa considered to be not as good as other provinces?

The main reason why Maricopa is considered inferior is that no Maricopans have yet come to this thread to plead its case. In truth, Maricopa is the home province of some extremely prominent and talented Talossans, my good friends Sir Cresti Siervicül (one of the most prolific Witt-posters around, and a Talossan to the core, but who seems to be overbusy at work lately -- you'll see him soon and often before long), and Xhorxh Asmour.
Until they poke their heads in here, though (and even after), Florencia RULZ!

As Sten's Senator, let me happily welcome him to the province. I believe you will find we are a vigorous and hospitable people. We are also the only province whose flag blazon cannot be reproduced from memory by anyone excepting Nobel laureates. Lesser flags are for lesser provinces.
Maritiimi-Maxhestic: nine out of nine residents agree, it's a province!
