Where do the Zouaves fit in here?
The bill establishing the Zouaves is rather vague...

This will cover Guard Commissions as well.

This will cover Guard Commissions as well. That's not clear from the actual text though. Maybe the bill should also add a section to 36RZ27 saying that the service requirements for members of the Guard are the same as in 35RZ32 except as otherwise specified in 36RZ27.

By taking out the reference to enlistment in the Navy, the amended portion simply addresses enlistment and commission in the "Talossan Military"

That works. People looking for the laws governing the Guard in the future will just have to know to read the Naval Reorganization Act as well as the "It Seemed A Bit Daft Me Havin' To Guard Him When He's A Guard" Act .

Works for me. I guess if it becomes problematic I could amend further. If I have to. I guess.

I am going to amend this bill in an attempt to make more changes in a single piece of legislation. When it is complete, I will ask for further input. Thanks for your opinions on the first draft!
