Ladies and Gentlemen of the Corporative Chamber,
Our parties have assigned our seats and we have quite a few things on our plate. We have legislation, calls for a constitution and some other housekeeping things to do.
The first order of business must be to elect a new Maestro.
As the most active RUMP guy in the Province of Benito, I wish to offer my services as Maestro. I presently serve as the Minister of Defence for the Kingdom and think that my organizational skills can help us to build a bigger, better Benito!
I invite all candidates for the Office of Maestro to present their pitch. I vote that the CC open session beginning Thursday Morning and ending either with 100% participation by members of the CC or on Monday at midnight.
We have to get the ball rolling if we want to change things.

As the outgoing Maestro, I endorse S:reu Asmourescu in his race for the Maestro.
I will gladly be active in the provincial legislature- and area where I believe I can cause more change than in the position of the Maestro.
I propose that the election of Maestro is open to all citizens of Benito Province with polls opening Thursday at 6am and closing the following Thursday (November 6th) at Midnight.
At closing of this poll, I move that the constitutional convention for the Province is mounted by all members of the Government of Benito and stay open until the constitution is created and enacted.

Also, I should point out that while it is noble to open polls to all citizens of Benito, unless I am mistaken, the Maestro is a party majority leader like the Prime Minister and is elected only by those who hold seats in the Corporative Chamber.

Hmm....that's actually all of the Corporative Chamber, we have 100% voting participation. We can wait until the time expires so that we each have time to change our minds, or, if we all agree we can close this vote and move on to legislation and the constitution, your choice.

I think it is unfair to end elections without each party having seats apportioned to them in the CC.
I move that the election continue and close at its original deadline or until all parties have been represented.

I apologize for my belated vote. My last minute involvement in the American Presidential elections delayed my Talossan obligations.
