As mentioned by Sir Cresti in another thread, what was the glhetgineir (an English to Talossan word translator) on our nation's Website has been upgraded so that can now also translate Talossan to English.
Being a two-way translator now, the thing has been renamed to l'Översteir -- Talossan for "the translator".
Note that the full functionality that you know and love in the English-to-Talossan direction (conjugation into the various tenses of Talossan, pluralisation, gender changes, etc.) is still available when starting from English.
Going the other way (Talossan-to-English), however, none of this is available (and probably never will be; if you look up "böf" and get "ox", you will have to use your own knowledge of English to know that the plural form is "oxen").
Also, unless and until further upgrades are made, if the Talossan word you type in is a conjugated or pluralised form of a word, you will not get a successful translation (the word will not be found). For example, if you typed in "marschat" or "marschada" or "marschescu" (each of which is Talossan for the English "walked"), there is no match. You will need to know the infinitive form of the word -- typing in "marscharh" will indeed tell you that the word is "walk". Note that this is also (and always has been) the case in the English-to-Talossan translation direction -- you'll find no match for "walked", but you can ask for "walk" and also (in this direction) tell the translator to conjugate the result into the past participle form (and using either of the genders).
Both "Old Spelling" (pre-2007 Arestada) and "New Spelling" (post-2007 Arestada) forms continue to be fully supported (in both directions of translation).
You're welcome,
Hooligan
