Many of you have probably already heard that Enterprise is being canceled after the completion of this season. While not my favorite Trek, I was disappointed to hear of this. Manny Coto's involvement this season has brought my attention back to this series after my interest waned after the first season. Voyager gets seven years, but Enterprise only gets four. Figure that one out. But, all is not lost. Who's been watching the new Battlestar Galactica? I didn't get a chance to watch the miniseries, but the shows I have seen thus far I have really enjoyed. The gritty realism of the stories is excellent. I'm getting used to the documentary-style photography, but all in all I think this is going to be a great series. One can only imagine how Trek would be faring if Ron Moore had stayed.

Heck, QC, I haven't even watched "Next Generation!" Let alone, "Voyager," let alone, "Deep Space Nine," and let alone "Enterprise!" I own all three seasons of the Original Series on DVD in three season sets --- very very cool!! I also have all the movies on DVD (including the Special Director's Platinum Super-Duper Editions when such have been "published"). As for "Battlestar," I watched the original series back in...in...forget the year, actually... 1978? '79? something like that. I don't watch any current tv series at all...just not much of a tv watcher, have better things to do. Oh, one more thing --- I own all the soundtrack CDs for all the Star Trek movies, plus a set of soundtracks from the original tv series, and a CD (rerecorded) of Stu Phillip's great music for "Battlestar Galactica." So there Oh, off topic --- thanks for the vote for the CLP!! We have invaded/infected yet another province!! ;D

Two words: BABYLON 5! Ben P.S. To everybody posting on Witt today, my apologies for not saying more on the various threads. I'm at the UWM library right now checking my overdue books and have a bit of Witt time while the modem on my home computer is fixed at the computer shop I'm on my way to. BTW, yes, that newest vote (for the CLP) is from Martin Bertagnon of Argentina!

I really dig on Bab 5, but I think if BSG has any sort of longevity then it will surely give Bab 5 a run for its money. If you get a chance, watch this show. Friday nights on SCIFI.

TOS is still my favorite but TNG and DS9 were certainly worthy. Voyager not at all and Enterprise was hit and miss, mostly miss until recently. Don't have the TOS season sets YET, but I have all the fancy movie editions as well. Lack of a real job until recently has prevented any major purchases, despite pleading with Mrs. Q. It was '78. WGN or TBS used to show it when I was a kid, so that's how I caught up. How nice for you. You're welcome.

Never got into Babylon 5. Saw a few episodes, just didn't catch on with me. The Star Trek universe was the first one (well...second one after Lost in Space, if you really want to count that!) that grabbed me and held me such that I grew to love these characters!
Looking forward to working with you (QC) in the GLORIOUS, VICTORIOUS CLP!!
