Let's get this party started! I know V and I have discussed the idea of a Cunstaval, tri-premier ship, and court. What does everyone else think? Once we've reached a sort of consensus we can start drafting our constitution. (BTW- I think that the tri-premier council should be called "El Cunßeglh da Dun Cestour" after our canton of Dun Cestour, how that name came about, I dunno, John?)

Hey Dreu, how about we let the Premier of the Convention handle what you're so eager to just do. It seems John fully understands his responsibility (his analogy to Washington being a prime example) so how about we let him do his job?
Besides, not everyone in the GA has agreed on him, we still need to hear from Sir Trotxa. Also, please note, according to the Org Law, John IS a military governor right now! It is up to him to call the convention, so I'm asking him to put that power in the hands of the General Assembly.
Now, let's all agree on some rules.
1. The members of the General Assembly must decide if a constitutional convention is necessary. 2. If a constitutional convention is deemed necessary, the General Assembly will appoint a Premier to oversee the convention. The appointment should be based on merit, the person's understanding of modern Talossan politics, mutual respect, and their willingness to participate. 3. It is for the Premier of the Constitutional Convention to call meetings (or threads in relation) into session, maintain order, facilitate discussion, ensure important topics are discussed, and all surrounding responsibility. 4. The official office of Premiership should be vacant until a new government is formed. 5. Upon agreeing upon these rules, the General Assembly is dissolved and the members become delegates to the constitutional convention. If, in the event, it is unsuccessful, the convention will be dissolved and a provisional government will be appointed.
I submit this to the General Assembly for review.

Assuming S:reu McGarry agrees to let us decide. Second, I nominate Sir Trotxa, although I respect S:reu McGarry, he has stated being as he just returned, he does not fully understand what is going on and he is reacquainting himself with Talossa. I believe Sir Troy would be much better suited for this poisition.
1) Yes 2) Troy

So that makes two for Sir Trotxa and one for John. Sir Trotxa? Your vote? I've always said that government is the last refuge of the incompetent. (Remember - I worked in the depths of Uncle Sam's bureaucracy for four years.) That being said, I vote for the most incompetent rogue I know. I vote for myself. Sir T

I take this moment to to declare Trotxa Premier of the Constitutional Convention of the Province of Vuode! The next move now lies with him.
May I suggest he sets it up so that we may submit ideas to him that may be brouggt up. I'm sure we are all eager to get this show on the road.

I take this moment to to declare Trotxa Premier of the Constitutional Convention of the Province of Vuode! S:reu V - Thank you. I now declare this a convention. The States General are dissolved and the members are now delegates to this, our constitutional convention. A few points of order first: 1. The energy of a few not withstanding, this is not an issue that will be decided this month. This is a time for calm, deliberate action, not rash, impetuous, semi-random spinning. We hope to craft a provincial constitution that will last for the ages. 2. This convention will operate under Roberts Rules of Order. 3. The proper plural noun for residents of Our Fair Province is Vuodeans. In a moment, I will ask the five delegates to this convention to post a few score words about their vision for Our Fair Province, Vuode. But first, I call the roll for this convention. I ask each delegate to answer "Here". Name, Party, Days as CitizenJohn McGarry, RUMP, 5164 Sir Trotxâ Betiñéir, UrN, RUMP, 836 Viteu (V) Toctviac'htéir, CCCP, 528 (Muhammad) Hairil Iskandar Bin Rajis, DPD, 322 Alexandreu (Dreu) Gavárþic'h, LRT, 148
