As an aide to 'puffery' and 'pretension' for the unworthy, is there any merit in creating a seperate peerage in Cézembre under the benevolent Authority of HM King John. this would mirror other secondary peerages such as "The Peerage of Ireland" etc and so forth and so forth
The Peerage of Cézembre would be the term used for those peers created by His Majesty in His capacity as King of Cézembre. They are set lower than Talossan peerages as such but have a certain glitter to them.
Cézembre peerages could be created for some time before the numbers became truly embarrasing and could be entirely seperate to the existing Talossan titles of dignity as a way of creating peerages which did not rattle the cage of existing holders of aristocratic title.
The ranks of the Cézembre peerage could be gorged with Viscounts, Counts, Baronets and , finally, Seigneurs What do my Talossan brothers think?

*I* think it sounds way cool, and I'm the King. So there.
May I suggest you bring this up with the College of Arms, whose advice I pretty much always take in matters like this?

We should have one for Maricopa, too. Love to read the posts of other provinces.

It's unlikely that any of the other provinces would get a provincial nobility (separate from the national nobility) because Cézembre is unique. The King of Talossa can grant honours as Talossa's fons honorum ("fount of honour"). But one of the King of Talossa's official titles is "King of Cézembre." So theoretically, Cézembre is in a sense its own kingdom, and when the King creates a noble as King of Talossa he is creating a Talossan title, and when he creates a noble as King of Cézembre he is creating a Cézembrian title.

Gotcha. I appreciate your explaining this point to me. This is one reason why I have peeked into the activities of the other Provinces...just to learn and appreciate them...like taking a road trip between Texas and other states of the US union. I read but try to avoid making a lot of posts since I am visitor.
