I would like to ask the Senechal to appoint from among the members of the assembly a committee to review symbols, mottos, heraldry, and other characteristics of the province. This committee, composed of volunteers, would make a recommendation after deliberation at the committee level for consideration by the entire body, of the following:
1. Should there be an update of the provincial flag? See “A discussion of symbols” at talossa.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=czembre&action=display&thread=1149001680
2. Should the province have a motto?
3. Should the province have an official nickname, bird, flower, song, fossil, or any other officially recognized moniker or icon, not the least of which would be the official beer or beers of Cézembre, such that should 36RZ2, a.k.a. The Newer Numismatic Naming Act, pass in the current national legislative session that the province shall immediately have a standard for exchange assay, in terms of alcohol content and specific gravity, along with the more subjective aspects of flavor. Since this may involve considerable debate, the official beer(s) perhaps may be discussed by a subcommittee, or perhaps moved to a finance committee due to its importance to the economy. It may be appropriate to name an official beer for
a) trade within the province
b) Cézembre trade with other provinces in the greater Talossan area,
c) one for trade within the European Union,
d) a special export for the rigors of transport and consumption in Pengöpäts Antarctic Territory,
e) a beer appropriate for distribution at Talossan Football League matches and associated Operatic events,
f) and a beer for denomination of export trade with World Trade Organization members.
Another good thing would be to send letters on official letterhead of the province to a variety of beer manufacturers under consideration for one of these positions (which may be filled by different products if deemed appropriate), such that those companies would be able to submit samples of their products to the committee and to the general assembly for evaluation.
