The proposed site for the first campus of the University of Talossa will be organized on isle Cézembre, however, most if not all of the academic and research activity will be conducted via the world wide web, and only certain ceremonial activities will originate from that territory. The University will support the free exchange of ideas between citizens of the Kingdom, Cestoûrs of Talossa, and those involved with the Republic of Talossa. Cézembre itself shall be a testbed for these developed ideas of cooperation, as the site www.cezembre.org evolves. XPB

This may sound weird but could we create a scholarship fund for scholars within nations that are currently oppressed?

This may sound weird but could we create a scholarship fund for scholars within nations that are currently oppressed? What do you have in mind? I don't think there have been any plans to charge tuition. But maybe that was implicitly contingent on the students being Talossan citizens. So maybe we could say that tuition is free for Talossans and for x students per academic year from a list of nations with repressive governments. Something like that. And then we'd need to come up with some kind of criteria to make sure that those who take advantage of the offer are representative of the oppressed and not the oppressors.

I did not know that our University was tuition free. I guess that makes a scholarship unnecessary.

I think that a great time to start the acceptance of students will be the day after Talossan Independence Day. It would be good to have some courses ready to go as well. I plan to focus on geography, and need to begin composing an online course. I have been remiss in polling the populace for the things that they might have specific knowlege.
