As Prime Minister of the Regipats, I must officially note the passing of a legendary man, beloved by all, a fixture of late night television unmatched by any who have followed him since.
I hereby declare Monday January 24th to be a Day of Mourning, in memory of Johnny Carson.
Given that emphysema was what finally took him from this Earth, I commend all smokers to refrain from doing so on this day -- and as many other days as they can manage.
END OFFICIAL SECTION
And if anybody gives me grief for jumping right on this when I didn't with a much greater (but less personal) disaster, I'll kick them in the teeth. (1/2 kidding)

Bravo PM Cone! This is a sad day indeed. I loved the guy and his classy show!! Jay Leno - you're no Johnny Carson. I grew up watching his show whenever I could stay up that late, esp. when I knew he had guests or acts that I liked. Fond, fond memories. So long, Johnny, and thank you for so many good memories and for being a part of my life!!

Great job Mr. Cone! I have been following your advice to refrain from smoking- seeing as I am unable to open my doors on account of the snow!

He died of the same thing (emphesima) that took my father from me in 1999 at the much-too-young age of 73. Smoking is evil.

I am more of a social smoker, I enjoy it from time to time. I look at smoking the same way that I look at everything, in moderation it is a pleasure that may be enjoyed.

That's what all smokers say. Wargaming is perhaps a healthier vice...
