Gary's "Cheap Glory" suggestion got me to thinking: maybe Florencia should reattach itself to Mussolini. The conditions for Florencia's existence are no longer a problem, and the driving force for Florencia's independence has left. As a citizen, I would not oppose this. The realignment of the two provinces would bring it up to par with the rest as far as number of citizens and voting power.
There are three voting citizens in Florencia: myself, Ken V. and someone else (I can't remember what their non-Talossan name is). There are three voting cits in Mussolini. Provinces can't change borders without provincial consent and Ziu approval.
I think it's something to consider.

Actually, there is some dispute as to whether or not Ken is actually a Florencian citizen. As far as I know he still maintains he is a citizen of Maricopa.

Azul, Chatting with Ken, I think he's reconciled himself to being a Florencian. As for the whole future of the province, I think seven provinces is a good number. We don't want evenly divided votes in the Senate... Ben

So let the DPM be Mencei and he/she can be the tiebreaker or -maker. It would be nice for the DPM to have actual duties.
