Gary (whether or not in jest I do no know) suggested expanding our national boundaries to include residences where Milwaukeeans (-ites? -ers?) outside of current boundaries live.
Not an unknown concept, but still radical after all this time I think.
Were this to work, no new territories or provinces should be formed. Census tracts ought to be annexed by provinces (assuming Ziu approval).
Maybe a committee should at least look into this.

It's "Milwaukeeans".
Cheap Glory II is not entirely a jest, nor in dead earnest. Just a trial baloon, launched for thought and commentary.

Azul,
I'm barging in as King to comment on this thread. I realize I have no vote in the Ziu or anything like that, but personally, I think this is a bad idea. Annexation of territory is something that should not be pursued lightly. One thing that makes Talossa different from all the fly-by-night bug nations out there is our history and our sense of permanence.
Annexing people's houses will create not only a lot of legal confusion (people do move, after all), but will make Talossa look unnecessarily goofy, in my humble opinion. At any rate, it will take an amendment to the Organic Law to approve any annexations, since the Organic Law defines the national territory as "Edgewood and the River" plus Cézembre plus Pengöpäts, as it has been since the 1980s.
I hope our political parties will chime in on this issue in some formal way (though I've already cast my vote!)
Ben

Historically, Wes championed the annexation of Shorewood -- so the RT would include the Holy Grail (ie, Napoleons). Of course, we know what happened to THAT idea. BUT, with FvB on board, this may (emphasis on MAY) become something more of an issue again. But FvB hasn't specifically addresses this (AFAIK). As a CLP supporter, I will back whatever position he takes, so long as I agree with it. Oh, final thought: DRANG NACH NORDEN!!!
